    The asparagus fern his full name is asparagus setaceus and is family to asparagus(the vegetable), the xanthosoma was first called 'xanthosoma lindenii' then caladium lindenii' and now 'phyllotaenium lindenii', quite a complicated history 😂.

    • @sergiopascale3487
      @sergiopascale3487 3 года назад +1

      I happen to have both Phyllotaenium lindenii & Xanthosoma lindenii & they're so different with the size of the leaves, the sinus & venation, so I don't think it's the same

      I recently moved to California from Vermont and it's invasive here! It randomly pops up in our garden bed all over the place. It's still one of my favorite plants though (albeit indoors). When I moved I gave away a massive one I had growing in a planter and it feels so funny pulling it out of the earth now.

    • @ronjasteini

    I 😍 the asparagus fern! Great choice 😁
    Since I put my asparagus fern in lechuza pon (kept the soil clump around the roots, put vulkastrat under and around and on top of the root/soil clump) it has doubled in size and makes beautifull long shoots! Is in vulkastrat since august, 3 months and is still growing shoots now in november. Newest of 90 cm! Never had it grown so good and large. Definitely can recommend self watering pots with vulkastrat/lechuza pon!

Both the triostar and the magicstar are pretty high on my wishlist (I need to sort out my flat/declutter/buy proper furniture for the areas/rooms that are still very much a work in progress, and I’ve banned myself from going on a plant shopping spree until I know what kind of places I’ll have to put the plants in! It’s supposed to also be serving as motivation to hurry up and make it happen so I can get my plants 😆) - love love love 😍

    Lovely selection tbh. Always a fan of asparagus ferns, they're so lovely, so peaceful looking. One a side note! One of my BIGGEST beefs with plant shops on the street, is the mislabeling of plants. The amount of plants I've bought that have the wrong label or tag on them is shocking. :( A PITA tbh, you do have to know what you're looking for/buying!
    THAT TRIOSTAR THO. Absolute unit. A+ They get so big on their own! Prolific growers in my experience. (All Stromanthe/ctenanthe seem to be).
    And that musa is so lovely. Wonder if the variegated version get as big as the normal versions.

    Shame on me for not guessing triostar 🤦🏻‍♀️! My guesses were warscewiczii, orbifolia and watermelon peperomia. I hope we still get to see a Hoya repot because I love Kaylee’s Hoya 💙!
