I just have this thing like I always check on you on IG and on YT and I always always check how long is the new video is. And after checking I was like oh wait 27mins or what, then I have to make my space a cozy one first and lay in bed before playing new video🥰 and I always hope that noone's gonna bother me as I am watching your video. Honestly! 💯❤ That's me!😉
Your videos calm me sown so much :) I've been through a lot the past years and gardening pulled me out of the stress so much. I love my plants so much, and I'm so happy that i found your channel :)
Oh! Ty for posting this video so soon! These are such beautiful & healthy plants! I am so impressed they followed through after 6 months! That speaks volumes! I am anxious to see how they acclimate and thrive. I have an idea for a video. Explain & demo what spent nodes are and what to be sure of before cutting to propagate. I believe you have posted this quite a while ago, but a new one would be nice!
Great looking plants, I especially liked the variegated pterodactyl I think that’s the first one I’ve seen. Congrats on the beautiful new additions to Plantmore Estate. Enjoyed the video a lot.
Hi Melissa, they look gorgeous!! Thank you for unboxing with us and showing how to take care of them. I’ve never imported plants cuz was a but nervous. But maybe someday 😊 Hope they will grow very well under your care 🪴🌱 💚
Thank you!! I definitely get that! I was so nervous for my first time last summer but it went so well! I think once you get over the initial one you feel more confident!
That was so helpful! I’ve been wanting to import but too nervous. I’m glad you mentioned they shed their roots because that would have scared me lol. But I loved seeing each step you took with them.
Aw glad it was helpful! I went into a lot more details with my prior imports and took you through step by step what I did. I was nervous at first but since this is my third import I am a lot more confident with them. A lot of the root system sorta shocks but they'll grow new ones over the next several weeks and the plants start to perk up almost immediately. I can link my playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLYt1-9zY5oEw_a0dPUC6DwQcJD--YO8Yp&si=0MPCYGWKGpJIAoNi
@@plantsbymelissa Thanks for sharing! I don't think I've come across the idea of root shedding yet. I wonder if it could be worth doing a video on specifically root shock/shedding with your rehab treatment. It looks like you might cover it in that playlist, but I don't know that it'd be easy for people searching RUclips to track down when trying to figure out why roots might be falling off their plants. I'll definitely keep your import playlist in mind if I end up with a plant that's been stuck in the mail for a long time and the roots are having a rough time.
I love the T-Shirt they sent you, I would totally wear that too! (after I washed it of course, lol). I think you are lovely and you chose a nice place to film your video but I would have gotten to the unboxing sooner and less about the emails. I love unboxings and that's why I stopped by. I was disappointed and wanted more reveal and less description about each one. It was very nice of the folks to send you all those plants. Hope you enjoy them for years to come.
Oh my goodness another variegated Frydek. I have really been wanting one so bad but they are way out of my budget. You're so lucky. I would love to have that.
I know I have so many now 🙈 I will definitely be letting some go! I have about 5-6 corms I am starting to grow off my main one too so I will be selling those 🙏
Great haul! You mentioned having a monstera Peru before but it dying, it could be interesting to do a plant fail video where you talk about some plants that have passed in your care and what happened
Thank you! Most of the plant fails recently was due to a soil I was using last summer that was breaking down and staying too moist which deprived the roots of oxygen and caused root rot earlier this year. I definitely don't want to talk about them anymore 🥲 My var Peru was potted into it 😩
These are UNBELIEVABLE!!! My husband just got me my first expensive plant today... A baby Thai Constellation!!! So excited!!! My 1 year of being into plants gift. *Any tips are very welcome lol* 💚🪴🌿
Congratulations! That's so exciting!! 🥰 I would give it the best light you can and they like to be a little root bound so I wouldn't repot right away and water mostly dry. If the soil sits too wet the roots will be deprived of oxygen so they can rot easily. Mine came back from rot so you can treat it! 🫶
@@plantsbymelissa It's very similar to the queen anthuriums when mature! supposed to be easier than them though. The other would be a type of bird's nest anthurium I think 😅
Every plant is absolutely gorgeous wow!
