0:30 there actually is a man who can make anything "That Man" is an important character in guilty gears lore, also known as "The man who can make anything"
so for those who doesn't know this is one part of zato-1's theme in guilty gear strive (buy it it's a good game) and the saddening truth is that, this is the best part of the theme by far and you never even hear it and the game just goes VANISH INTO DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK... (same goes for drift and others)
I heard this theme once, but because I was initially bored of how it went, I didn't get to this part. Now however, it's up there with one of the best themes in the game.
I think the entire idea is the chorus stripping down the character the longer the fight goes on. The more and more each character fights, and the longer they throw everything at each other, the more they start to realize what their fighting for. An ultimate motivation for them Does it justify me not hearing each characters brain melting third chorus? God no, but I can see the philosophy there
They're fighting and will never realize their true feeling/intentions because the fight was too short. Take happy chaos for example, everybody always think he's a wicked man trying to ruin the world. That one part near the end show that his true intention was to actually bring fun(but it's chaotic) to this world.

That's all part of Zato's plan ya sees. If he can't beat you normally, he'll wait till this part of the song pulls up and defeat you while you're busy on the floor being a blob of Incoherent sadness
The only bad part and in fact the worst (saddest) part about this song is that, even if you run out the timer in every round, you'd never get to this part of the song. I'm not crying, you are.
It speaks volumes when it's not just Zato mains that break into tears at this part of the song. The theme in general did the criminal act of shoving this segment to the end of a long song so you don't hear it in a normal match.
that's kinda the point isn't it? this is the "true" theme of Zato as a person, how he feels when he's with Millia, the man separate from eddie. You hear the theme start to play only to be overtaken by the "vanish in the dark" segment at the start showing this struggle for Zato to feel, it's symbolic and kinda genius
It's probably also as this segment would have both fighters just devolve into a blob of sobbing mess if it came up in a match. So probably for the best. Hell the fact this segment is at the end makes it your prize for listening through the whole song.
I do not play Zato. My brain is too small. Fighting him: VANISH INTO DARK~ His theme: *muffled sobbing* Such a beautiful song. Passionate. From the soul. But god when it hits close to home does it hit like a Counter.. "If theres a man who can make anything. Give me the tools to live in the past. Its all gone down so deep and i cant see anymore." Tragic art. But moving.

A Really nice touch 👍👍👍
And lore accurate too!
Zato be like: I love me a woman that can *actually just kill me*
or Raven lmao
"But I still love my boi Eddie"
And when he couldn't find a woman who would actually just kill him, he trained a woman to actually just kill him.

What if Zato will contact Asuka and ask him, if he could send Zato back. Then Zato can live his quite live (maybe with Millia)
