Hyung is what younger males call their older brothers, while oppa is what younger females call their older brothers. If you are not close enough to the person, it is not proper to address them as hyung, and you might be called impolite. Annyeong is the informal form of Annyeonghaseyo, which means hello. Korean language is difficult for foreigners due to the different terms that need to used for people older or have higher stature than you.
Of all NCT members, Johnny and Mark are definitely the most fluent in English and probably the easiest to understand. Ten and YangYang also speak fluent English but may not come out as idk how to describe it, as smoothly as the other 2? But then again, both Ten and YangYang speak 4 languages each on a fluent or near fluent level. Ten speaks Thai, English, Korean, and Mandarin while YangYang speaks Mandarin, English, German, and Korean. Jaehyun also speaks English fairly well since he did live in America for about 5 years as a kid.
He lived in America for 4 years thats why he's here man 🤣
Anyeonghaseyo is hello - formal.
Anyeong is hi - informal.
Hyung is when a male address or refers to an older male, but not too much older because then they'd say uncle. They add -nim or -sii at the end of names (or -gun, with a longer 'oe' sound for males as well) when addressing people more formally.
Okay, let me give you the very simplified version; so the Korean language as we know it today was actually made by a past King, King SeJong the Great. Back in the day only nobles and certain classes of men could read and write - the majority of the gp were illiterate. The Korean language, like the writing system not spoken words, was also still very Chinese based (they have a lot of shared history - back then being many small and large Kingdoms etc, very feudal) and Chinese characters/alphabet was not suited for the Korean language (they use a lot of consonants compared to other languages like Japanese or Mandarin which are more strong sounding - Korean flows very easily. Korean was a different language even back then but obviously had a bunch of 'loan' words or also influenced words from Mandarin and Japanese due to shared history and interactions etc) so he made Hangul or the Korean writing system for everyone in his nation to be able to read and write bc he had pride in his people and wanted them to better themselves and so he made a phonic based writing system (based on the spoken language) that would be super easy so everyone can learn it from peasants to women. Great man.
So Korean is very easy to learn (bc it's phonic based), though North Americans have issue with pronunciation bc you say your 'A' differently than most of the world including Asia, so that (pronunciation) is generally the biggest obstacle for North Americans when learning other languages, but easy to correct if you are aware of it.
I would so go for it! It's difficult as an adult and takes time and practice. Start with vocab (like broadly eg. pronouns, colours, Animal, etc) and some basic phrases (eg. I want..../I like or dislike.../where is....? etc) as you will start recognising words in all the videos you watch (exposure is the best way to learn) and when you can pick up the context of a sentence with the words you know then move to grammar. But that's just my opinion and works well if you're not going to be in Korea physically. But yeah, go for it - it's a new skill at the end of the day so it could never be a waste 😊
Lucas saying "Neumo happy, neumo lonely",me & my brain cells screams together "we going kokobop":|
The later parts of this series aren't as chaotic because the creator is running out of content xD Of course as the years go on the foreign members learn more and get better at Korean. However, with NCT 2020 including the Chinese members of WayV who aren't familiar with Korean like Xiaojun, YangYang and Hendery (the others, Lucas, Kun, Ten and WinWin previously promoted with NCT so are more familiar with Korean and spent more time learning it) they could probably make more parts just with these three and the new Japanese member Shotaro since they're still new to Korean lol
Annyeong is basically just “HELLO” or “whats up”.
Hyung = older brother
Johnny and Mark are English native speakers.
Jaehyun also speaks English sometimes and it’s actually very good because he used to live in America for 4 years.
Ten and Yangyang from WayV also speaks fluent English, they both communicate in English with each other. Ten is from Thailand and Yangyang is Taiwanese but he used to live in Germany.
11:01 it was misspelled on purpose cuz Yuta (japanese) repeated what Taeyong (korean) said incorrectly and they all laughed
Annyeong~ means is hello/goodbye ☺
Love your reaction, thank you for reacting to more NCT; please don’t stop reacting to them. They’re always chaotic and their songs have different kinds of concepts💚✨

Time to teach you my poor korean language: 😂😂
There's two way of speaking formal ( there's a yo in the end ) and informally ( we don't say that yo in the end)
Hello in korean is annyeong informally and anyeong hassseyo formally
End of class
See you next time LoL 😂
Annyeong: hi/bye (informal)
Annyeonghaseyo: hello
Annyeonghikaseyo: goodbye
Hyung: older brother (used by males)
Oppa: older brother (used by females)
MORE NCT REACTION!!!
Korean and Japanese are very same structure but Chinese structure is very same as English. So Chinese speak Korean or Japanese not easy. Hahaha!!!
annyeong was hello or hi in korean . they have two ways to say hi in korean the first way was annyeonghaseyo . and the other one was annyeong . actually theso two hi will be use depend to the person who are u talking to . as example whene you want to say hi to a stranger or a older people u have you annyeonghaseyo and annyeong you use when you talkto someone that you have been know for a long time or the younger one actually annyeong was one of informal word in korean and annyeonghaseyo was a formal word and you cant use two of those word as you wish cuz korean people will feel it is rude.

Hyung= what a man calls another man who is older than him
Noona= what a man calls a woman who is older than him
