Just wanted to say that I am a very visually afraid individual myself if that makes any sense lol
I own guns so I'm not ever afraid of a human breaking into my house but at 30 yrs old I am still scared of monsters pretty much 😂
Like, the way things look in scary movies stick with me. Just scary looking creatures that don't even exist have me scared at night sometimes even to this day

Thanks Alana for the encouraging reminder that our husbands chose us how we are ❤ And wow haha those childhood movies on late night tv were the worst, I do remember the witches one and others freaking me out so much. I have also had a similar night experience of something on my bed an holding me down, and same thing, calling out Jesus and just thinking He will keep me safe and suddenly it disappears. As christians we definately have targets on our backs and also must be mindful of what we expose ourselves to as well as our kiddos. Thanks for sharing what was on your heart ❤

Alana, I personally know nothing about chickens. When you have a broody hen, do you just put any freshly laid eggs under her to hatch? (White hen /black chicks)

Yes:) but I mark them to be sure the ones I want hatched the only ones we leave in nest daily. Sometimes other hens will lay in nest and mama hen will sit on those too, but they’ll be on a completely different developmental
schedule.

I appreciate your videos so much! Food for thought, have you ever considered that our parents "made" us. We all use the terms "God made me this way" or "God created this person for this purpose"(which can take on an ugly Calvinistic meaning depending on how it's used). Realistically, it was our parents who made the choice to have us and we who decided to have our own children. This explanation makes much more sense for children born into terrible situations, with difficult illnesses, people who blame God for Him making them be born, ect. Of course we are in God's image, and Adam and Eve were directly created by God. To say that God creates each of us, not so sure. Just food for thought
That’s fantastic wording. Yes, I actually say all the time that people born into horrible situations were made by the means that God created for a human to come forth. Anybody can have sex with anybody and out of that act comes a human. But you’ve taken it to another level for me to think on. Very good thought. :-) Thanks for sharing!

As a new follower of Jesus , can I ask why you would consider it incorrect to have a deterministic mind set/ God controlling all things ? Sorry if it’s a silly question ! Thank you in advance for your help! ❤😊

@@jacqueline5782 That's not a silly question at all! The idea that God determines everything that comes to pass isn't scriptural. Here's one verse (out of so many) that show this. "And they have built the high places....to burn their sons and daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My mind". Jer 7:31. Man should get the blame for that, not God. As Alana said, saying that God determines everything, removes responsibility from humans.
