In this particular way Hawaiian is being used in "Keep Hawaiian Lands In Hawaiian Hands" is referring to the race, the aboriginal people of this place. But that can still be confusing to most people who don't know what it means. The only way I can describe it to you is Hawaiian is a way of thinking, a mindset. To have the mindset of a Hawaiian, is an 'Aina based thinking. Its about achieving clean water, clean land, clean air, clean food. Its about being achieving self sustenance, providing a way of living that supports the people living in that community and not for tourism or foreign businessmen.

With that being said, the county workers and other government employees that are innocent need to start talking about what has really happened or face the consequences, just like the ones they work for are going to face consequences. Back in the 70s when the volcano erupted on the big Island, the local Army from Oahu was called in to do rescue due to the tidal wave caused by the volcano. My brother was one of them. He was flying one of the helicopters. I remember there were some Boy Scouts and a Priest. But there was not this chaos and confusioin. Everybody just chipped in and did what was necessary. But this? This was criminal and they need to find out who gave those orders to block the roads. And get the Lahaina school records, they are online, they have to be turned in to the state. It appears they are still not willing to discuss the numbers of missing children.

Thank you for mentioning the Army being involved in the rescue mission during the volcanic eruption. My exact question was where was our military helping here in this fire? Hawaii is one of main US military bases, why wasn’t military involved in the rescue? We need to know this as this will uncover the truth about this disaster and WHO was exactly responsible and what was the motive.

What I do not understand, testimony after testimony victims that saved themselves knew exactly which way to get away from fire, yet the police had no clue they were preventing the people from escaping. Some testimonies came from men and women, who had confronted police who were saying they had ordered not to let people escape, told them the police they were going through no matter what, and the policeman said fine, and did not stop them.
Not sure if they were different policeman or not. Its sickening that the people who trusted their police officers, trying to stay calm, perished.
They did the same thing in Paradise California. Said there was benzene in the water . Sounds like there's a pattern here.
Benzene is found in wildfire smoke. Even burning clean normal kiln dried 2” x 4” Douglas-fir boards produces smoke containing benzene. So yes, it is a guaranteed pattern.

I live in Volcano on Big Island 20 years. In 2018 we had a major earthquake and volcanic eruption. It was total chaos . Cops are untrained, understaffed, unprepaired for disasters !

Great testimony and I am more than sad that these lovely people should have water brought in it is essential for all life and has not been a priority where are the supplies that should be coming in by military planes with water and other supplies where are the army next door with all their help. California, and now Colorado, has had a few other unnatural fires causing mass devastation. Firenado, 5k homes lost in Sonoma county, etc etc. Something has changed with the fires and it has nothing to do with global warming.

Good point, what would you recommend for the people to do to find legitimate answers to the situation that we all know are the type of questions everyone is feeling but nobody is going to be directly asked and made to answer. There's no way besides Internal high status military personnel to obtain information about the use or flights regarding planes or satellites with direct energy laser weaponry. I thought it was kinda far out speculation and must have a logical explanation, and I think there is an definitive logical explanation known by the government and other elites. After seeing cars melted around palm trees that are still sounding it doesn't make sense. I worked at a funeral home for an entire year, performed over 100+ cremations myself, and I can't believe that they are actually claiming fires may have left no remains of people, and even if they have been burnt for an entire 24 hours, they would still have bones that shouldn't be vaporized or reduced to untestable or unrecognizable state. It takes at least 3-4 hours at 2000° to completely incinerate an adult sized body, depending on the body fat % it could be much faster and hotter, but regardless it would leave brittle bone behind. Even with cremations left in the crematory overnight they bones are still in sizable pieces, and even the area directly below the main burner which is assume is over 2500°+ will cause a skull to fracture but won't reduce it to unrecognizable dust until the remains are swept out, a magnet is ran through them to retrieve any staples or particles that may damage the bone grinder, then placed in the gringer for at least 30 seconds before cremated skeletal remains are reduced to an ivory colored powder. The grinder is high powered and still occasionally leaves bone that is hard, and up to 1/6"-1/8" big. The missing kids and the theory that some have been incinerated by the fire to the point they cannot know if they were inside a home or not is something else beyond normal flames or gasoline or anything I can think of
I’m so proud of these citizens finding the strength to come out and give they’re testimonials. I believe they have a Crimes Against Humanity case against the State. I pray the people there keep going. For what happened here, the greater number of testimonies the better to get the justice they deserve. The Governor’s hands are tied. He can’t do anything but make sure people are put into housing and their children have schools and meet the community’s needs. I agree, until the people are settled and given their loved ones a service, it would not be good for tourists to come back to Maui. Tourists wouldn’t know what businesses are open, what beaches etc. As for Lahaina, the survivors decide if there will be an area visitors can pay their respects (New York wanted people to see what happened and set up an area after their Sept 11 attack. Maui should ask tourists to be on their best behavior or stay away. They will have to respect boundaries. They will have to respect police. It’s important to keep their opinions on social media. Lahaina is in a State of healing. Digital warriors cheering for them is good, but visitors have no rights to complain. Visits should be about love and respect.
What would be wrong to charge people a hefty amount to go in and let them take pictures of the area as a reminder and to bring in more funds to the people that live there and need funds??? Why not make money any way You can

I would love to embrace this idea but they're not taking this long for one thing. This is a crime scene. I learned from a former classmate who blazed a career as a forensic invetigotor, they don't see things the same way we do. For the people that died, for the people that lived, for the people who did this, the best investigators in our Country are going to look for clues. They have the technology to find a hair from a nat's ass. Everything leaves a footprint. If we want the very best justice possible, we have to let these people find what they can as well as what's missing. The wheels of justice grinds slow. Stealing from the movie Titanic, We are waiting for answers, waiting for absolution, this story doesn't have to finish as theirs. It gives everyone time to bear witness and tell their stories. Digital soldiers who have channel's should publish them and send orinigals to James Comer, Director of the Oversight committee. They will conduct discovery questions under oath. These sessions are public.
Who would go to Maui in their right mind? Does anybody want to deal with the mentality of these officials and just basically deal with this nightmare in general? Yeah I did think it was weird that no renters or homeless people are being helped. Just because they didn't own a house or a business. This is affecting everybody and everybody should be helped.
What Tamara said in the start about the limited scope of the investigation was sad but the testimony was great. We need to have a Maui citizen led vote for an independent investigation with police powers to pursue our own justice. Unfortunately the EHP by Gov Green gets rid of all the development laws.
