Wow! The school, the bridges, the mountains… it all looks so idyllic (well, except for that skinny, trafficy road y’all had to bike! 😂) Everytime I watch a video of y’all’s, it makes me want to bike Japan.

Iya is one of my favourite memories from cycling in 2023. From Tokushima to Oboke through Mt. Tsurugi and the Iya Valley. Nagoro, Ochiai, vine bridges, snakes on the road and the feeling of being almost the only living human around. Truly a great way to clear your head.

Wow what cool memories! Thank you so much for sharing - agree that cycling and being outdoors (especially in such a beautiful place) is such a great way to clear your mind. We didn't get to spend any time at Mt. Tsurugi but I would love to next time!

thank you so much! I've been slow with editing but hoping to finish up these last couple road trip videos much quicker 😅I would love to go back there to spend more time in other parts of Shikoku, the nature there was so beautiful☺

The school looks like an amazing place to stay. Was it expensive?

it was so great! and no it was 9000円 for two people, I was surprised there weren't others there too. We booked on Rakuten though, I don't think they came up when searching on Booking or other similar sites.
