They did not buy any property back in 2014. While watching it he seemed to bring in new demands e.g. be near a station as he didn't drive, but would be driven to a station by the mother of his 3 boys. He seemed to be going through the motions, and gave himself away a couple of times. Suffice to say, they, at that time, bought in London. Watch it again with the knowledge that his heart was never in it. It's fascinating.
Hi there. We didn't see the utility room although I should imagine it would be nice and spacious. Do you mean the en suite bathroom? Yes, it was like a fairytale princess's bathroom.
Three kids and glass railing on the staircase? I can see that going well, every spare moment spent wiping off fingerprints…over all though gorgeous house (the silver lighting and bathtub just throws it all off a bit)
To heat such a big house will cost a fortune and to keep it clean with three kids running round would be a never ending job .and don’t mention the garden there goes your weekends ,you could try and hire people to help you but again that cost money. The joys of living in big houses 😂😂
Obviously you haven't seen this show before. He isn't a seller/broker. He is a host who presents the properties. The couple are always asked to give their estimate of the price before the host tells them what the actual price is.
Being an American and would LOVE to move to the UK, it was so nice watching this show. Will miss Alistair so much, but congrats on your new job opportunity.
Brits in the upper middle classes and higher, are taught to avoid the word 'nice.' Just as they don't say serviette, but napkin. Just as they say lavatory, not toilet. Those words are naff. To be avoided. There are hundreds of those little rules you pick up through childhood. They give away your social background, your education, your parents social class, etc
Ytes, the city can be Nice when you dont have children, but children spend There days inside, without fresh air,and free play without breathing in toxin from the cars.
I love this program but its now a insult to the average person but now they show people with one million plus the average person who watch this are lucky to manage to pay a rent why not try and find harry and Megan a place

What a great home and I hope they found their happy place
Wow!That bathroom is incredible
And... we don’t get to know if they got it 😕
Such a nice couple, hope they found the perfect spot for them and the family!
it would have been nice to know if they got it or if the seller accepted another offer.
I'm guessing since we saw this, they did get it.
You clearly have never watched a full episode of Escape to the Country before.
This is not a house it is a Home. Beautiful! ❤️
I always like to joke about a Mystery House being build over an ancient burial ground or something to make it sound like the house is haunted.
That woodburner is going to have to have a fence around it, with 3 little ones.
What happened did they buy the house??? Why don’t you find out the outcome so by the end of the video we’ll know what happened!!💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️🤔🤔
I've never seen such a beautiful utility room. He's in trouble.

And the woodburner in the living room. That will need a fence around it. There goes any swankiness.

I always think the same when I see glass railing
I don't live there, and was able to price it more accurate. I said 950-985.
Blimey!he is ok with a work commute of 90 minutes!and back again 90 minutes!every work day!
But they named their son Hatcher. What kind of name is that?
🤔🤣 maybe it's a family name.
no worse than the past tense of 'draw'
@@RIXRADvidz I suppose he’ll grow up to hide behind some nonsense name with MIXed CAPitalz.
The first house was perfect
Lovely property... is the new style for staging a house to make the beds look rumpled like someone just got out of bed?
Yes.
That property was definitely staged, either by the owner/owners or someone who knows about interior design, etc,. 🙏

she shouldnt have mentioned her price estimante 1st. let the seller/broker name the price. it might be cheaper than what you think. then haggle.

oh wow ....
After all this I understand they stayed in London
I'd love to build a large American style open plan house in the English countryside...
I need this house 😍😍😍😍

I know it’s a lot of money, but they seem a little indecisive.
