I believe it's a flugelhorn that he drops an octave or two in editing or runs the audio through a pitch shifter.

Finally got a decent microphone. That POS SM58 is one of the worst mics ever made, yet also the most popular. Why? Because in the 60's when a lot of teens got into making R&R, they wanted to have a deeper voice and the SM58 has a proximity boost at low frequencies when close to the mouth. And it was also cheap, in all aspects of the word. Anything from Sennheiser or AGK is great. Your Flugelhorn as a Tuba is great and saves a lot of huffing and puffing too (i.e. you don't need large lungs and a matching body). Brilliant!

Hey Seb? If a brass band were to do a brass band version of a Winx Club song, they would most likely change to key signature so it would be more suitable for them right?
I’m only assuming so cuz I watched one of your videos a very long time ago and you said “Brass instruments just don’t like sharps”
And I already told you didn’t I? It’s not always the case but the most common key signature for those female vocals of a Winx Club song is E major.
And transposing E major for B flat instruments is evil! 😱
What’s the better option?
Read it as it is? Transpose it to F sharp major or G flat major
Yeah probably would change the signature, I’m not a professional, but it seems the band you are referring to is not as experienced.
I suggest teaching the difference between sharps and flats on a piano and showing them what the half step actually looks like. Just a suggestion.
That is if you don’t change the signature to something easier and more suitable
