      It’s also very simple, because there’s so much fluff in the market. Get your base with strength work, and plyometrics. Then do the most specific work.

    Its true,after doing jump squats,kneeling jumps,depth jumps,sitting box jumps,after 5 weeks shi had no more effect,so I researched my favorite athlete and copied his lower body workout(Yuji Nishida,his workouts really make the image of jumping and approaching,so after just 1 and a half weeks my vert increased)
    (Only 3 inches,but still,imagine 2 months of doing that whole thing)

    Personally I do rlly low volume plyometrics almost four times a week and if I feel rlly good will do 60 percent effort jumps. Like light single leg pogos where I’m literally only getting a inch off the ground.

    I'm 5'10 and I can grab the rim with both hands super easy everytime. I've been doing plyo for two months now and haven't seen improvement and have been wondering why. This makes sense now

    Did John Evans say this that....once you get more advanced...you need the more max jumps vs just plyos and jumping around so to speak... MAx vs standard once you are decently advanced

    Hi, how do you incorporate 2-3 plyo workouts a week and you already hit the gym 3-4 times + basketball twice a week ?

      I have exactly the same training pattern: Basketball 2 times a week (actually 3 during the season). My basketball training sessions are on tuesday and thirsday. What works for me is:
      Monday upper body,
      Tuesday Basketball,
      Wednesday plyo and lower body
      Thursday basketball,
      (if I have a game on Saturday/Sunday)Friday plyo plus full body Workout
      (If I dont have a game) Friday plyo and lower body
      Saturday either upper body or gameday
      Sunday rest
      Sometimes I switch the workout sessions.
      But I am also wondering if there is a better alternative🤔

      Lower-body workouts are so exhausting and full body workouts are already very long, usually over 1h30 in my case

      I work out 3 times a week, plyos 4 times, and sand volleyball 6 times a week. I’m 14 tho so I probably recover faster than most ppp

    I'm 10 and 5'2 touching a 8 feet rim can't dunk but touching rim by doing plyo and I'm an elite jumper so it's no bad to do plyo as a elite jumper

      @@Lolshadow64LTDfor sprinting weighttraining is equal as important if not more. Look at legs of sprinters. They are huge. Also for sprinting core strength is important to.

      You kind have to plan it out, you can do strength training first ( if you need to bulk up in general), then you can do plyometrics
