While watching this speedrun I noticed there was a lot of dialogue I've never heard before, such as the guy at the spooky mansion. Also is there a cruise ship stage on ps2? I've played this game many times and only found out a few weeks ago that there is another stage after tokyo...
Hey Georgie, been coming back to this run for years. For a while now I've wanted to learn this run and finally want to get it done. Are there any particular tricks/strats I need to know or is this run just really all about a good route? Last I checked I haven't seen tutorials for this run so that was my guess. Thank you in advance if you respond
It really kind of depends on how familiar you are with the games. There's never been a tutorial for 3; it's just kind of what you see is what you get. There are some tricks and nuances that may not be too obvious at first glance, so if you have any specific questions, I could probably answer them.
There are actually a few different options you could use if you wanted, but SKATE letters and photo goals vary by skater. Bam, Andrew, Jamie, and Officer Dick all have the same basic career layout, so it really comes down to player preference.
Impressive run but you could've gotten sub-3:30 if after level, instead of ending run, just reset eun and end run ao it bypasses the goal completions pop ups and the stat/point records
Would waiting out the time for every level add anything to the run? By that logic, anybody could have the world record. It would just come down to menu speed.
Well Nerd, it's legit, Speedrun.com approved. The conditions are: - 5th Gen: PS1 and N64; 6th Gen: PC, PS2, Xbox, GCN - Runs must be done on a 0% completion file. - Timer starts as soon as you gain control of your skater in Foundry. - Timer ends as soon as you select "End Run," if you finish in the top three of the final competition. - This game uses SDA timing which means (Timed from first frame player gains control to last input. Loading times removed to compare across consoles.)
This community is going to disagree with me but my perspective from the outside looking in all i can see is wasted talent imagine all that wasted time spent doing speed runs on this game was spent on doing something a lot more productive
@@jordanhtiffirg1990 It's a valid criticism. At the same time, speedruns are not uniquely meritless as far as hobbies go. Learn a language, get in shape, make your own game, touch grass. All things I still want to do. Life is pretty short. Cheers.
"I only have 5 minutes left before i go to work"
*starts up THPS3*
I love how awkward the sound effects become when you play this game faster than the developers intended.
Ralphie H Spunds very nice though lol
*Record scratch intensifies*
That's how I used to skate IRL but I quit skating to start collecting Pogs
Used to get the deals trading with the older kids. Always looked out for me
Still killing it in the THPS1+2 speedruns, georgetheplushie! Respecttt
2:47 those combos!!!

2:34 lmao

One of them pro skaters I suppose.
Fuckin' Kareem xD
Kareem going surfing babyyyy
Gabriel Andrade Kareem got fucked upp
on ps2 the loading screen is 3:42 XD
1:09 judges: "my god, he's a genius"
And I thought I was good at THPS...
I guess not aye
We love this game. Nice run dude.
I remember playing this early in the morning on the ps2
My childhood...
Holy living fuck this is absolutely ridiculous. Massive, massive props, dude.
Nice job man, i remember your excellent AGDQ run still
Absolutely amazing dude !!! Well done 👍🏼
What a freaking win right there!! Nice work George!! Hope you do get a better time then 3:42 or is that not possible??
When you challenge your friend in Tony Hawk 3 in 2002 and he is this guy.
"Uhh. You want to play smash bros melee instead?"
To be fair, I wasn't quite as good 20 years ago.
Some of the songs in the game are longer than this entire playthrough.
I've played THPS3 sooo much and I never knew about that.
That's mind blowing!

Have to get all gold which he didn't do
Watching this makes me physically ill
Awesome job dude!
Get the wr on the gbc then you can have all the respect in the world.
There is no fuckin way the loading screens would go by that fast
Super sick, always astonishing to see an improvement from you. I'm proud to say I met you in person at SGDQ14.
You're a legend.
Could combos on competitions be shorter? That is something that could give a couple of seconds.
Incredible job
How do you learn to navigate the menu that fast
It's just muscle memory. There are really only two sequences of inputs for the menus, and they're consistently snappy to get through.
This is actually crazy
What is the reason to not including Cruise Ship in Any% runs?
Never mind. I get it now.
@@Hallalii what's the answer, I'm curious
gordon1337 Just need to get the minimum for the credits.
This game was godly holy fuck
Sick run
This some light bro
That's fucking amazing dude
Very impressive!
Wait, what about this ruclips.net/video/7gR4GEa25u8/видео.htmlsi=_HQeeF6KQtVEYwRA ? It says 3:14 there.
@@bartlomiejciolkowski4716 You're right. I need to update the video title.

Speedrun 100% again!!!

Why always everyone choose Jamie Thomas ?

Alreast for some levels, you lose a few seconds overall while waiting for the goala/stats/records
Thx

To much emotions in the end, but nice run!
Cruise Ship?
The All Goals/All Golds category might be more your speed. ruclips.net/video/aBsbZAT0Puk/видео.html

Does this really count when he keeps ending every stage?

cool man, now go see that thing called sun. Its the bright thing
You seem like someone that supports alcoholism, drink beer as a hobby, my addiction is NOT related...
Oh right. Of course. I almost forgot that anyone who wants to (or is) good at a game must NEVER go outside. Seriously?
Austin Peters are you really trying to hate on someone over the internet
Austin Peters bro how could you piece together that I support alcoholism by my comment😂 Mr Detective over here
Austin Peters surely if he's speedrunning he has more time to go out side
1:04 lmao
uhhlynxzii What
Clay Soggyfries how awkward it is a contest lasting 5 seconds. Just overall awkward 😂
