I just got a 2022 Kia Forte gt manual. I find that the turbo even in sport mode lags a whole hell of a lot but it when it finally kicks in, there is a huge jolt and almost feels like your going into hyperspace. I’m not sure if that is a regular problem with the factory cars, but would be interesting to know if you noticed the same with yours
Jb4, Racechip, or similar seems to help with that. Better aur and fuel upgrades help as well. These cars are not especially quick from the factory, but respond when when you open them up.
@@cadbane1980 fair. That’s the only thing about the car that is a little frustrating is the amount of lag from the turbo. Yeah it’s not super fast, but the power and torque in the beginning stages of acceleration seem to not be as linear as it is towards the mid rpm ranges. I would like to see how those plug-in tunes would affect the car’s reliability in the future if someone were to have it the entire car’s life
The N is definitely a step up. It took me a $500 boost controller to push 240whp. The N is close to that stock. The Forte was cheap and paid off already...and there was no Elantra N at the time of purchase, just the 1.6t like the GT.
Def a deal I think the veloster looks better the elantra is imo an really ugly car and no cosmetic ls can do much for looks if it's just hp you're after for price mustang a good deal also its price bcuz the N is 10k more starting to lthan the Gt
@@21Dimen plugs, downpipe, custom cat back, intake, racechip GTS, plugs, springs, sway bar, strut bar, 2 point tie bar, bushings and other little things.
Upgraded intercooler... If I do more it's a coin flip. I can go big turbo, but that requires a transmission build, and voids the warranty. I will likely go aftermarket intercooler from Tork and then stop.
@B Billy any other aftermarket mods and the dealership service department will likely refuse to service the vehicle. But honestly, if you mod a car you should take it to a local shop that specializes in modified vehicles and do as much work as you can yourself.
bro this is soooo fire
Nice...and still one of the best bargain performance minded cars out there...but I do have to put the N on top of that list.

Glad I got the Elantra N vs. the Kia Forte

What app u using to see videos on the Radio ?
Aaad and carstream
What mods do you have?

May I ask what mods you have done, I want mine to rip like this!
Here is a video of all the mods so far...ruclips.net/video/RPns1EMN3pA/видео.htmlsi=h1gzDIU2HjnLvg-M
Did you still owe money on the forte gt when you traded it in?
@@darkshadows1332 still own it.
Do you plan on doing anything more to it? I basically want to do the exact same to my GT as far as mods go.

It's no track killer, but it's very, very sleepy, which is what I wanted. I just want to beat up on entry level car snobs, lol.
u dint slip????????????????????????????????????????
Man this aint a bad video, but the looping of the runs on the ending is not good, is it a inside joke among friends or what
All these mods void warranty or what?
Only the spark plugs and the racechip if you don't remove them before you have it serviced.
Appreciate that bro, just got the 23 gt limited and im interested im mods but really have no idea where to start

@B Billy absolutely the best mods imo are suspension. Bars and springs will completely change the character of the car.
I saw the automatic and thought weak. A manual is better.
Have you seen the car market and the complete lack of inventory?
@@cadbane1980 I’ve seen the market and bought a six speed manual Forte GT. You didn’t try hard enough. Weak!!!

Dual clutch is faster
Whats the difference? The DCT is more of a manual than an auto anyways
