It’s pleasing isn’t it?! And in my opinion, the trigger cut method is the safest way once you learn it. The trees don’t shift as much in the top when done like that. They hold loose items better while you’re making the cuts! It’s the very first way my dad taught me to cut a tree
When was the seed planted, it grew up, you cut it down, you milled it into a selection of boards, I buy the boards, I build a🪑, what's the time frame for each timeline of the Tree's Adventure the 🪑 could last hundreds of years.
You’re 100% correct. Yes a lot of trees I cut and saw are 100 years old. However, turn them into a table or a house, and it becomes another 100 years! People don’t understand to have 200 year old trees, you have to cut down a lot of 100 year old trees. So the strong can flourish to new heights💪 Literally
That’s a good question with a lot of varience! There’s been times we’ve had standing trees turned into boards that afternoon😂 But it could be a month🤷 It just depends on our priorities
You just really like to listen to that soft screen don’t you have things just burning gas and you’re not getting anything done that’s why you get wore out by the end of the day you need that saw to be pulling the whole time you’re cutting I’m 75 years old and I’ve cut my whole life and I’ve never heard a screaming that loud for that long without trying to wiggling around and get the bike. You need to do a little bit more filing a little bit more on your drag.
Yeah, that soul is not gonna last any length of time you stand in there, shaking your head, cutting the spurs off of that red Oak with it sitting there screaming you’re gonna blow that all up and less in a year
Thanks a bunch. Always love to watch your forest work...
Thank you sir:)

Very informative video.
Great felling 👍 from the 🇬🇧 👊🏼
I appreciate that!! Thank you for commenting:) stay safe
12:59 Your explanations of how you cut the tree, trim the stump end and top the tree is very helpful for me to understand what’s happening. Thanks!
I appreciate it!!! Just remember these techniques would change if I were near houses, roads, or power lines!

Are you using chipper chains or chisel chains ? How often do you file while out cutting?

On average what is the amount of time in between the time a tree is felled and it goes under the saw at the mill?

Крупная липа всегда имеет ядро, в отдельных случаях - дупло.
Looks more like basswood.
Is the mill down?
Yes, we’re waiting on a shaft still
Sharp saw

The new saws don’t bog down like the old ones do
They actually adjust and kick up rpms with the computer chip.
The muffler has literally been widened to increase airflow as well
