@@Nozdrum Someone I know personally put together a build where he had a bleed poke weapon in main hand slot 1, and a frost poke weapon in mainhand slot 2, and the fingerprint shield in off hand. Absolutely murdered Malenia without ever rolling, blocking all of her stuff.
The fact is, the best way to deal with a lot of her attacks _is_ blocking. In fact, you can fight her just like you fight Margit the Fell Omen. Some attacks you block, others you dodge, and sometimes you have a window to guard-counter. The fact that she heals off of attacks doesn't mean anything, because she's a Sekiro boss, so her health bar isn't real. When she does Waterfowl, you can block the initial impact, then roll the rest of the attack, and that's much easier than just trying to roll everything, or block everything, and she doesn't regain that much health, and the window you open up to attack by doing that, more than makes up for the health loss, especially once you understand just how staggerable Malenia really is. Remember, she's a Sekiro boss, ignore her health bar and just keep posture-breaking and critting her. She will die in record time if you do that.
As it turns out, the lessons this game teaches you early on about how to kill bosses, hold true right up to the most difficult challenges in the game.

Or you could just try to fight him in tight quarters and roll everything. But that fight wasn't designed with the intention that it be done like that. It was designed as an option, but not the expected way everyone would do it.

I have no idea what this comment is referring to but I'll blindly agree with the editor right here.
@@guardianofthetoasters2323Dr. Who?
I'm just glad he didn't quit, I was pretty shocked he announced it.
Asmon finding himself in the same position as QuantumTV and having the same opinion on the DLC as he had on the base game is really quite funny
@OppaiSama_ On the video where he had a mental breakdown and said he isn't have fun and he hates playing the game?
@OppaiSama_ Fair enough. He has said multiple different things who know what he really thinks. Just makes it up as he goes along
Bofuri Asmongold isn't real, he can't hurt you.
Bofuri Asmongold:
A true successor to the giant dad. The game is finally worth buying after seeing this build.
It is an extremely fun build
Shield + spear my beloved since ds1
* Equip bowl hat
* Equip slab of concrete
_I am now unstoppable._
Proof that Havel is the single most powerful entity in the entire Souls multiverse
This is the reason why running around with Havel's armour with the big ass shield in all the Souls games just worked.
The ten commandments in one hand and an axe on the other nice build.
The Moses build.
@@boonkunak Moses would have a cane so death rite bird cane in the other.
This DLC has been crazy 😂
So this is what Moses was up to when he was in the mountains. Using the commandment stone to slay evil.
I just finished watching the stream from last night where he was talking about this DLC, to see this video now is fking hilarious af 😂
I decided to play the whole game from the beginning and "THE WALL" is my current build lmao
and their shit talking him on twitter saying he can’t do it 🗿🗿🗿
Tanking behind finger print shield is barely doing it, it's a practically a meme. This is no clap-back, and he only barely redeemed his own tantrum.
@@kayhaich asmon just put you in you're place. Hold the L.😂😂
@@kayhaich Barely? It looked quite capable to me. Against furnace golems I use fingerprint shield to block their nuke attacks because it basically reduces all the damage to nothing. Its a good shield, period. It can even become a viable bleed weapon.
@@kayhaichU souls fans are actually tragic. It’s a damn single player game, he can play however he likes, just because u dodge instead doesn’t mean you’re soo cool and awesome and good at the game loll
@@kayhaichcry me more. And then some more.
If only you had that double headed turtle talisman, then you’d be set 😂
When you're no good, it's not fun.
But when he one shots the boss, he has fun. Classic😊
He wants it easy.
"NOOOOOO you can't just use plate armor and shields in a game with medieval weaponry!!!"
People don't care unless you are a hypocrite or brag about it. Just because the difficulty is not in the settings doesnt mean you are not playing on easy mode.
Shitting on game journalists and then making a journalist build is peak comedy.
@@ktoto2853yeah it’s cringe doing this, and then claiming you are good at the game. Like no one cares but don’t act like you’re too good for summons then do this corny shit and claim you’re good 💀
