Continuing on with the Old Gods of Warframe weapons, today we revisit one of yesteryears best Beam Weapons, the Legendary Amprex. The Build will be updated according to Whispers in the Wall meta shifts and the weapon will be tested in High Level Steel Path.
While it's not a weapon that I would consider adequate for level cap or something of the sort, it did perform very well for base level Steel Path and realistically speaking, that's all you need.
Warframe is a free-to-play action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer online game developed and published by Digital Extremes.

as long as you can clear steel path content without too much issue, the gear is perfectly fine. I think we all need to remember how much overkill there is right now in warframe, and most importantly what is the actual difficulty we are playing. Conjunction survival and whispers in the wall IS the high level, not what you get after 3 hours of endurance. So seeing the amprex do this well, is good. it's not overkill, it's just perfect

I love the visits of the older weapons. Ignis W and Amprex is still one of my favourite weapons.
Still kickin with my amprex I made like 6 years ago, i got a riven with multishot, damage, and crit chance and just basically haven't been using anything else for the past 3 years
It kinda looks like Icebreaker from destiny. Haha

A vandal or prisma version would be nice, but a Tenet version would be amazing.
@@Gamer12666considering how good the tenet weapons are compared to their base forms, a tenet amprex might just be busted.
Amprex is by far one of my fav weapons in the game.

Thanks for the great guide, finally a build that I can use as a returning player who stopped in mid-2018, in addition to spending a few seconds farming the mods, which is a huge saving of time, as incredible as most of the guides I see seem don't bother to inform
Absolutely love this guide, I recently got a really good riven (111 crit chance, 88 crit dmg, 80 multi shot, and -29% ammo maximum, this works flawlessly

Always glad to see older weapons get a new guide. Alot has changed in a year, with new mods, arcanes, the new Archon shards, etc. Great vid as always. I hope to see a revisit for the Glaxion Vandel
I did this with Prisma Lenz, with Primary Frostbite it became a beast, with a high Crit dmg with Orange Crit it's insane and Galvanized Chammber and the bonus of the Arcane, I'll manage to use it with the Mirage Prime, that I got recently, the map will badaboom in ice
Gotta love the updated builds for each of my favorite Beam weapons.
This is some good build ideas. I rediscovered the Amprex during the Plague Star event and was wrecking havoc on the mob infested and had put some Forma in to kill them faster. So far for the Whispers in the Wall, my favorite weapon is the Tenet Cycron since it destroys pretty much everything it touches lol
I recently picked the Cedo back up with the new Radiation mods. With the prime Cold and Electric mods, a Cold/Corrosive/Radiation build with Primary Frostbite and Hunter Munitions is just beautiful. I use it with Xata's Whisper but I think Nourish would do well

What a perfect timing of your video man i can't believe it 😁 ... just 3-4 days ago i was bit bored with my standard loadout and i wanted to change a bit, and i was going through all my primary weapons and i saw Amprex, i don't think i have ever played with it before except maxing it out for mastery points and that was it. And i was like "okay lets see what you can do" ... Took it for few runs, realised how potent it is, dropped few forma on it and it became my favorite weapon since then 😄 And today i see your video coming out 😁 Great content as always, just keep up mate 😃👌👍

Corrosive tauforged archon shard takes it to an even higher level and lets you take this build into very high levels too

I know it probably wouldnt be an interesting video but a revisit to the Quellor be nice, see how 3/4 years treated it, did it get better with newer things like p4rimary frostbite or has it always stayed the same.
Good use of both Amprex and ignis is for nightwave kill "x #with whatever element "
Between both ya can mod for whatever specific element ya need
I use a similar Amprex but with (max Duration) Gauss and Energized Ammunition. Pair it with 2 Emerald Shards to 100% Armor Strip with 14 Corrsoive Procs and you're set!
Nourish can shred even faster (with the additional damage and procs of Viral) but with that many fire rate, it mostly is better to go for less damage but guaranteed ammo.
Never stopped using the amprex. It's my main weapon since it released.
This and the acceltra will always be my top 2 fun primaries
I would love from you Leyzard what you can do with the Flux Rifle in today's content.
It always has been some of my favorite weapon a long time before it got the Tenet version. I got my build but i'm curious what would be your strongest build recommandation.

I used this build with my weapon platform hydroid (nourish, pillage).
The damage it churns out gets pretty nuts, even more so thanks to hydroids passive making corrosive full strip.
I might test it with frost as a weapon platform due to his augment later. Good build.
I love ur vids Layzar they helped me a lot in my early days of WF and it still does.. Hell even in my arsenal 90% of the weps are your builds they packs one hella punch It would be best if you could revisit Shedu or Fulmin as the prime version is out as well. oh also if you would like you can also add killin Mechs in the new content those are quite tanky and new players can really have a hard time if he locks on to them. You can hop on to survival to showcase it.

one of my top 5 weapons always will be, I have a toxin crit chance riven so its inate corrosive, argon scope with bladed rounds and hunter mun does wonders for me
Gunna be using the amprex with harrow p. I feel like it will work really well with him tbh.
I use this weapon to finish whisper on the wall quest, on the phone as well.
Due to cross save i was finable to migrate my xbox account to PC and start playing again. My main primart is my rank 9 Amprex with a maxed amprex riven mod and a number of the ones on your list.
With Nova Prime it's overkill in nearly any situation. So glad to be back in this game after 8 years.
My first 2hour survival(with camp spot)was done with amprex+rhino with some basic mods at low rank!! Currently you can compete easily at kills per mission...
Need help what weapons should I focus on building and getting? Preparing for steel path and just did my first archon hunt. But I need to def get stronger.
Ok I am so confused on how grendel's nourish works. Does it apply it to the weapon so your weapon can get viral procs? Or is it just when enemies shoot you and you explode as spread viral?
Great video as always! Amprex was one of the weapons to first steal my heart in this game so glad to see it doing well. Out of curiosity, are you only able to use Primary Frostbite because of your riven giving you some damage? If you didn't have that would you need Merciless or something? Also an updated Kohm video would be awesome!
agreed! In his build he had a riven with crit and damage and did primary frostbite as an arcane. Im asking if he was able to use primary frostbite because of the +damage in the riven or if he needs merciless if he doesnt have a +damage source from his riven or somewhere@@marceljansen3812

Could you do an updated kuva chak build. Got to be my favorite wepon but I just don’t know if I’m optimizing it enough.
It feels so difficult to get endgame/steel path ready I’m MR 16 and im still struggling arcanes take a ridiculous amount of grinding for. Formas while not hard to obtain take a whole day to build and it’ll take about a week to get enough to mod one single weapon right and orokin catalyst are far and few between and let’s not even mention how even when you craft formas you’re forced to use one on a exilis adapter if the weapon needs that mod or even the fact how theirs different types of forma that are harder to obtain then regular forma. And even if your gun is decent if you don’t have a good frame with all that forma and adapters and arcanes and subsumes then it basically doesn’t even matter and if you ever want to get into decoration you have to spend an exuberant amount of money on plat since grinding things to get a decent amount of plat requires high level gear. And not to mention how long it can take to level up some of the factions since some require you to do some of the most boring content in the world or content that’s way to difficult for you to do alone and when you que with randoms you basically do nothing so you get beyond bored since you grinding for hours basically sitting back watching other ppl play the game. I’ve probably spent a couple hundred dollars by now and I still feel like I’m so far behind everyone else. I’m getting so close to quitting this game it feels way to time consuming which I wouldn’t mind but I hardly feel like I’m being rewarded for my efforts even when I do eventually get what I was grinding for I get more of a feeling of annoyance for how long it took than satisfaction that I finally received my reward. It’s so frustrating to spend this much time playing a game and feel like you hardly even have done anything noteworthy worthy. I can’t even imagine how more casual players feel cuz I’m not a die hard but I’m not casual either and I’m still sooo far behind it’s crazy and I’ve been playing off and on since about a year after it came to Xbox. Idk man this is just a rant for no reason after seeing how much shit I need to get to make an old gun I have feel decent. If anyone read this just ignore more me, I’ll be back on the grind to make this one weapon build for a while we’ll see how long it takes…

Hovering with zephyrs one and using her 4 breaks the amprex as long as you shout in the tornados

Since this video mentions Primary Frostbite, doing another video on a old forgotten weapon in the Glaxion/Glaxion Vandal might be interesting. It wont be winning any awards, but I wonder how far you could push that weapon now with the arcane.
I am still using the Xoris, and even without the new arcane, it still is exploding everything in steel path and the new enemies, hell i even 2 shot the acolytes still with no arcanes

@@NickHunter honestly without the 3 RUclipsrs I know to help break it down? No. A lot of wasted content and potential on systems yet to be fleshed out or reworked. The little I can wade through I have but to the average person it's an insurmountable pile of data.

why it does not all orange and red dmg like you in the vid ? i have riven mod crit dmg and crit chance instead of crit chance and dmg
I used to use the Amprex a LOT but don't use it as much now because of all the power creep of other weapons. Definately going to give this combo build a go.
Currently my most used weapon is the Ocucor. I just love to use it as I can play with half of my brain disengaged, i.e "normal mode" 😁
Problem with the Ocucor I am having is that I have just recently reached SP and it does not orange or red crit consistently and I do not have the ken to make it do that. I know it is possible as it has on occasion just started red critting everything but I do not know why. Perhaps I should start recoring my so that I can analyze gameplay afterwards.
I got a taste of the gun in circuit when I was only Mr 5 and have been looking forward to unlocking it since. I finally got it so now, how to I mod this beast?!

Hi so I’m new to this game and just got mesa from the circuit a while back but I don’t have any mods that are used in other builds so I was asking if you could make a new player mod tutorial for mesa
i like to play with my twin kohmak focused on status with arcane empowered, so many number, with the recent update it has got better, corrosive taking so much of the armor and one extra element, and i can go blast to have infinite shield and health.
Trumna if the build has changed at all or if you have one that does not use bane mods
It might not be 2018 but the amprex has been my go to primary for ad clear since then. I frequently have people get mad and leavey lobby cause they cant get any kills

if I can recommend, I would say definitely mess around with your keyframe velocity (easing in / out) to make those zooms just a little bit smoother!

I remember when the armored was the absolute best weapon in game
It's been my favorite Warframe weapon for years, stopped playing and atm thinking about coming back. Has anyone tried it with the new purple archon gems? The one that gives more primary electricity damage? (300% if you run all 5?) I used to run mine with xata's whisper on several frames.
I just noticed there're only a few primary electricity weapons, perhaps most noticeably the Fulmin and quanta vandal.
