Agree, but would You agree with me that this is where Michiel plays "a bit less jazzy"? I'm asking since i've also tried this approach with my father who is a jazz pianist and we can never agree on "what sounds right" :)... like the chords Michiel plays in the end are beautifull but i guess they would never make it into the final product, in this context... its subjective in the end so thats that, just asking to see if "im in the wrong here".
I love the dialogue between piano and synthesizers, Mr Borstlap is a master of armonics, it's inside without embarrasing or overdose. Thanks for sharing.
Listening in the background, My daughter said “It’s not festival like, or whatever. It’s just nice and really beautiful music that should be on all the time.” She’s only 5 by the way. ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
Amazing work man this is great! Its just unbelievable that some of the best techno from the Netherlands is made on such a wonky chair, I guess its the wobble that gives the swing to your songs! :)
Very good. Sitting in my garden, a lovely summer’s evening, clear endless blue skies and chilling with a cold beer and listen to this on my iPad. Bliss.
Jij bent de eindbaas , the master himself 🙌🙌🙌
michiel and yourself should be damn pleased with the result from that impromptu jam session, I've had it on repeat for the previous 5 plays, I expect to listen to many more
Loving house and techno to the bone but also jazz and the influences in electronic music. So this session was a great listening experience. Looking forward for more to come.
I love it, when the Nordic Walker goes on a bold journey like 10:25. I feel like he is, in this first attempt, hesitant not to interrupt the Techno, but damn! What an energy coming from this guy!
This piece no doubt was created through love of music and feeling. These days as far as the peak of the commercial industry goes there does seem to be an almost complete lack of great electronic tunes in the charts (i feel charts are less relevant these days though) quite a contrast from 80s and much of the 90s. One current big hit artist i do really enjoy listening to though is ‘The Weekend’. His best tracks really do have a ‘sound’ A few years back Kygo created some amazing tunes and still does. Another i recall listening to ( but quite a few years back now) a lot is Chris Malinchack ‘So good to me’ he did great work with Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrals voices from their 1967 song creating a unique therapeutic chilled vibe.
@@vogelvogeltje Well the music industry can be for many involved just about money, whether big time commercial hits or smaller endeavours. I would like to hope though that the exception to this is the actual artists who have produced the actual item the attention is being paid to. Great heart stirring tunes i think are either just clever put together works and/or genuinely inspired by the artists spirit. (this option i prefer) Or both.
i was listening this track walking in a day with rain and damm hit me right, doing fotos and walking, such an inspiring moments, but it`s a travelling ticket too any time and space! Greatfull i am!
It's strange. I was just thinking to myself a only few days ago. ' I wonder if anyone has ever done a jazzy version of techno. Or tried to recreate Jazz with electronic instruments. Well here it is. Simply sublime. Awesome. We need more !
These sessions need to be made in to an album
You might just see that happen

Haha! I was thinking he needs a proper rocking chair.
Agree, the chair is magic ;-)
The infamous wobbly wooden chair that joris now will neverrrrr give up after all the attention it’s garnered 😁
Old School Joris vibes, best vibes! Listened to this 10 times non stop.
oh my, what an intro that was - with TB-303 and TR-909 plus the very skilled keyboard player. That's insanely amazing!
Very good. Sitting in my garden, a lovely summer’s evening, clear endless blue skies and chilling with a cold beer and listen to this on my iPad. Bliss.
how music should be...simple and beautiful.Congrats!
How is this even possible. Certainly one the best thing I've heard.
most beautiful thing i've ever listened to... one day i will play this music when i have my own cafe
That's so nice to watch, a guy searching for the groove, teasing lines and then running with it.
Thank you God for giving us the music, and the people who made it

Whan an energy, universal.
There are worlds between this masterpiece and the "hits" produced by the music industry.
This could find a niche in the commercial industry... Very palatable and impressive and just relaxing to listen to....
