I have a 2018 S90 Momentum and still, I catch people at the gas pump or in the supermarket parking lot checking out my car and then making a comment along the lines of, "I love your car." I always respond with, "Thanks. I like it too." If they want to ask questions, I am all up for it. A lot of people just say that because they think Euro cars are some ultra special high end exotic thing that was handmade by the Cherubim. It’s nice and I like it but it’s literally only as good as the Lexus.
if I have the money I will pay that amount for a Lexus . but not Volvo though !! not very reliable and very expensive to repair . plus according to my Mechanic. their dealership won't help him. regarding figuring out some technical problems codes .
Well you won’t be paying the repairs since the car is new with a warranty so it’s literally free for 3 years. What you will be paying is depreciation or the entirety of a lease. Which isn’t a big deal since you have the money
I used to not care for the ES. My parents had a new 2005 and it was nothing special - just a glorified Camry. However, I was recently in a 2+ hr road trip in a new ES300h and was surprised how refined and quiet the hwy ride was. The engine was weak and overwhelmed, but it was a really nice hwy cruiser. I was pleasantly surprised as recent Camrys have gotten cheaper w loud hwy interior noise.
I dont think volvo are decent enough from a design or reliability point of view. Safe yes but that about all. Sorry Volvo but your cars just dont stand out or apeal
i own an XC90 R-Design D5 2019. With air suspension. Bowers & Wilkins also. 22" wheels and white metallic outside. Looks great in my opinion with the shining black parts contrasting with the exterior colour. It's not an S90 but it is the same category of refinement and luxury. Volvo are great cars. I could perfectly buy a 5 series bmw or a Mercedes Class E or a GLC ... my XC90 cost was around 90K euros. In my country diesel cars get way more expensive because of taxes. A friendly ecological tax in order to help the environment and get money 💰 💰 🤑 inside Government's pockets. BS to me. The usual. Anyway... so after almost 100.000 km and 3 years, i couldn't be happier. No problem so far. Just do the regular maintenance, ⛽️ and hit the road. And mine was made in Sweden 🇸🇪 Torslanda. Thank God. Back in model year 2019 they were made in Sweden just like the XC60. XC40 were made in Ghent Belgium 🇧🇪. Nowadays i believe some are made in europe and USA but also in China. Even so the S90 looks great and it's a gorgeous car. I don't find that 66k is too much. Maybe because i paid more for my XC90. But it is what it is. If you want one you have to pay. Great reviews and in particular this one just got my attention, because it's the "90 series". Love from Portugal 🇵🇹 😀 👍
This isn’t a “Kia Optima”, it’s competing with luxury cars with adaptive suspension etc, it should have more options (like a sports mode for more responsiveness) and a look to match if it wants to price itself in a category where the Germans are innovating and driving the industry forward, including an engine to match. Also not every car is safe, a Kia Rio is 5 stars in its class, put it up against an SUV and it’s not as safe. Also there is passive safety features and how well it works, I guess I won’t be watching your videos anymore since half the commentary doesn’t make sense…

Why can’t you what happened?
why should I send 66k for made in China. if it is made from Sweden l will buy it 😮
if I have the money I will pay that amount for a Lexus . but not Volvo though !! not very reliable and very expensive to repair . plus according to my Mechanic. their dealership won't help him. regarding figuring out some technical problems codes .
Well you won’t be paying the repairs since the car is new with a warranty so it’s literally free for 3 years. What you will be paying is depreciation or the entirety of a lease. Which isn’t a big deal since you have the money
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
No I would let it depreciate 30-40% after four years lol
These things do tank in value like crazy. I would only lease this if buying new
You're spot on again. If I had to get such a long sedan, the ES300h is way better in terms of almost everything.
Yea my friend ES all day long
I used to not care for the ES.
A gussied up Camry cannot compare with an S90.
I would never get an es300h over an s90. Laughable. More comparable to a gs if anything.
I dont think volvo are decent enough from a design or reliability point of view. Safe yes but that about all. Sorry Volvo but your cars just dont stand out or apeal
I like them I just don’t like the price on this particular test car. Would rather get a polestar 2
Toyota avalon better value
Hyundai Accent is even better value but doesn’t really matter since that’s not what this competes with
bmw 545e plug in hybrid over this
Nice!
I'm saying G80 over this
So underrated great car
Whew, no way.
NO!
Yo bro
Hey brother hope you’re wel!
@@MeynMotorGroup Yes sir bro likewise 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
No
In a word... No.
Understandable
My parents bought a Volvo 940 in the 90s and I always thought it was an ugly, boring car. Good to see Volvo hasn't really changed LOL.
😅😂 well I think this new S90 at least looks good
i own an XC90 R-Design D5 2019.
Thanks!
To bad Volvo is owned by the red Chinese.
You literally only stop by on my Volvo videos to say this 😂😂
LOL and you don't shop at Walmart. What a stupid comment. US capitalism sold us out to the Chinese years ago.
It's true.
