Dan, I am 82 yrs old and have never listened to metal music.I don't know the genre's descriptive words - so think of an old grandmother speaking. I think you sing "tall and big". Your singing provokes a mental image of a Viking or Scot in 1200ad who stands 7' tall and commands an army. Part is camera angle, background. Good choices. You sing more powerfully than a human should be able to. You are to male soloists exactly what John Wayne was to western movies. Good job! Keep it up, please. . I'm from the Big Island of Hawai'i. I spent 12yrs singing in choir as a 1st Alto. My instructor was a direct student of Luciano Pavarotti. Dan in my opinion is absolutely stellar! Its not easy to flip from being classical trained to singing regular songs. The pronunciation of his notes is how i knew from the moment i heard him thats how he was trained.

It is not only polished, but filled with heart and soul. That's what distinguishes Dan from most of the other metal singers who simply perform well.
@@azurenojito2251 You are ever so right with your assessment. I was in a rush when I wrote my knee jerk reaction response to a comment I read on "Dan Vasc's raw talent.". His talent is highly polished and as you said full of unmeasurable heart and soul. Only Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, and Robert Plant have come close to his abilities in my estimations to date with some of their songs. Dan Vasc seems to get it done every time.

The production value of these songs always blows me away. The editing is always amazing, the mixing is beautifully done, and the "choreography" (if you can call it that) is great. Everything in your videos is so deliberate and well thought out. It's just one more thing that adds to the incredibleness of a song.

I’ve read the various comments and heard some of the people who do reactions on RUclips discussing this video. Come on people, use your critical thinking and problem solving skills! Do you REALLY think Dan is promoting devil worship by performing this song? If you look at the empirical evidence, you know Dan has publicly aligned himself with Christ multiple times in a variety of settings. The lifestyle he leads is also another indication of his values and beliefs. He supports his mother financially and emotionally. He treats his body as a temple. Doesn’t do drugs, he exercises and lifts weights. He treats others with respect. He employs others in his business and gives praise and thanks to them for their gifts that are shared with him, promoting his musical success. He is motivated by truth and conviction. He’s not afraid to express his opinion publicly. Because he is a competitive person who sees challenges as a way to grow stronger based on how you handle them, I know he had many well thought out reasons for choosing this song to perform. My guess would be that he chose this specific song to expand his vocal skills. I could also see a part of him welcoming any controversy this performance might generate. I say these things based on the results of the personality test he shared at one time. I don’t see him as someone who’s going to alter some of his foundational characteristics in this instance. As he said in his
“Apology” video, he wants 1 million subscribers for his channel, but he wants you to stick with him if you like the things he does; but he’ll show you the door if you want to whine and complain about the actions he chooses to take! I sincerely doubt Dan chose this song as an attempt to glorify Satan. I think if that had been his goal, his attempt would have been bigger and more obvious. He’s not known for his subtlety!! Lol😮. If the song doesn’t sit well with you, don’t listen/watch the video. But be careful not to deny yourself any former or future performances from this talented person. It would truly be your loss!

Oh, PLEEZ us elders knew all about heavy metal B4 you were even thought about. I'm happy youngers are carrying it on, Thank you very much for such an innocent thought. My old self enjoys it because it's relatable and still kicking ass, the music that is. Late 1960s and Early 1970s: While the roots of heavy metal can be traced back to the late 1960s, the consensus among metal fans and music historians is that the very first heavy metal album is Black Sabbath’s self-titled debut album, released on Friday the 13th in February 1970. Oh, BTW way that song came out in 1982 by Iron Maiden and I was the ancient age of 30. It's ok kid I love the youngers.

I usually don't find covers of iron maiden to my liking because there's a grit to Bruce voice that other people can't match. You have been the one to change that and I think this cover is absolutely amazing. Love your work. Hope to see you perform live one day in the UK
