Yu Yu Hakusho Makyo Touitsusen on Mega-SG with 4 players and English translation patch by M.I.J.E.T.

Hardware used:
Mega-SG
Mega Everdrive X7
Team Player (Model 1)
Official Genesis extension cable (from the system to the Team Player)
Official Sega 6 button controller (American)
3 Retro-bit Sega licensed 6 button controllers (2 clear blue, 1 black)
How to:
Plug in Team Player to system in controller one port. Keep slider on Team Player on "A", use controller in "A" port to work the menus.
Two major steps have to be taken to get any 4 player game to work on the Mega-SG with the Mega Everdrive X7.
In the Mega Everdrive X7 main menu press C, go to options and turn off in-game menu.
On the Mega-SG go to Settings/System/Hotkeys & Controllers and check the option PASSTHROUGH MODE.
Start the game, move the slider on the Team Player all the way to the right to MULTI.

I made some additional changes to the settings. I turned on hybrid scanlines and enabled dither blending at 0.

Mega-SG is a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive built for modern televisions for the best possible performance.
The manual for the Mega-SG warns to not use wireless controllers with the multiplayer adapter (in this case Team Player) but it does not say why. I wasn't willing to take the risk.
