That modular furniture that you have to pull out and assemble would get old really quickly! I wouldn’t want to have to “work” just to get a table to sit at!
@@Boba1702 anything below 500sqft where I'm from is considered small. even a studio here is at least 700-800sqft to be considered a good size. Considering the size of that kitchen, zero extra space in that bedroom, barely a living room (where's the tv go?, no room for an extra chair) this is still on the small size. Not to mention barely any natural light in living area. And a small bathroom
That's very common in Buenos Aires indeed is one of the best parts of the city and considering that theres not that many parks and plazas (especially in some neighborhoods) so the trees help with air quality and heat in the summer too
I like that cage too: I've never seen something like that. Extra crime safety for the urban environment (no more worries about those big glass doors). And extra plant space! Yay!
I really like this one. I love how everything flows and none of the furniture except the pull-down bed is serving multiple functions or have to be transformed to be used. Makes it easier to live in.
@NEVER TOO SMALL Could you, please, make an extra episode about small apartments and noise (e. g. how to improve sound absorption, which space-saving measurements help to add some soundproofing)? I also would like to know how people cope with living in crowded locations when there are whole families sharing the same ground-plan size above or beneath and there is no extra space/room to avoid the noise of your neighbors. I see so many quite minimalist examples on here but the echo and sound absorption must be insanely bad in some of them.
I too would love to see an episode on sound proofing. I'm just about to start my small space build and have been researching sound cancelling building methods not because I'm a noisy person, but because I want to cut out traffic noise
That is something they rarely discuss on here! These homes are always beautiful, but if you're stuck inside because of work or quarantine, the noise can be extremely stress inducing. Even if you have the technical privacy of your own space, noise can cause a feeling of intrusion and lack of privacy regardless.
I have been a fan of Never Too Small for years and suddenly I find that they made one in the neighborhood where I was born and lived my whole life and in front of the school I went from kindergarten to graduation! it is excitingly beautiful and i loved the apartment! just thank you

@@me_ca136 I've lived for 25 years with two gas burners in my tiny kitchen, and do not really miss having more. And yes, I cook from scratch. If I lived in the city like this, I might find myself eating out more often with friends, too.
Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. I'm Australian, and I loved it there. I did miss how efficient and organised Australia is, but Argentina is just beautiful.

Por qué no ? 🤷🏻♂️ la diversidad de locaciones en todos sus videos es amplia y Buenos Aires tiene excelentes arquitectos y diseñadores. Te recomiendo apartment therapy , muestra gran cantidad de deptos de argentina.
I love that they kept the bedroom features much the same, but added the gorgeous wallpaper. It's such a cozy space yet full of personality, and the doors to the balcony are gorgeous!
I spent a few months in that neighborhood, back in 2004. I really enjoyed it then. I hear so much has changed. It was a great neighborhood to stroll. And I enjoyed my jogs!
So happy to see an appartment from my city. The architecture feels much more familiar to me. I know replumbing here is expensive and noisy and it would take a lot of time, so I think they found a good solution. And there's a great ice cream shop right in front of the church.
as soon as the first image from the street was shown i knew it was my city. This was really nice and prety common to see in the appartments of young people living in Buenos Aires. No big renovations, just enough to make the space feel fresh and new again without compromising the budget. I love to hear some of the things the arquitects and designers choose to achieve a beautiful result with cheaper materials
This is one of the more realistic and reasonable designs. I'm from the middle of the US and tiny spaces fascinate me because it's such a foreign style of living from where I'm at.
This channel is soooo soothing, visual and calm narration. Takes my stress away looking at beautiful spaces created and narrated by calm voiced articulate architect/designers.
I'm so happy to see an apartment in the country which I'm living! Thanks! Though every space's design is fascinating, I cannot truly understand how the cultural, economic, and law restrictions influenced the choice of the designer. But in this case, I have no problem at all (laughed when the architect said cheaper, so true)
_¡Hola a todos los argentinos y los porteños especialmente. Saludos desde Australia!_ I like the way Esteban and Jimena have transformed this dated apartment to meet the owners’ requirements. I had to laugh at at Jimena’s distancing herself from the choice of wallpaper in the bedroom. _¡Je je je!_ 😊
En cuanto escuché la pronunciación dije "esto es en Latinoamérica" y cuando vi que era en Buenos Aires me entusiasmé. Saludos y felicidades desde Pilar, Bs As.
Beautifully simple and plenty of functionality. Spare bed is a nice idea but probably have been willing to swap out for a blow up mattress/ more storage space. Windows make brilliant use of the dappled light. Subtle touches like carved handles and reconfigured bathroom are the bonus points. Nice.
Though this is a complete remodel these collaborators managed to maintain the best architectural features and the nostalgic sprit of the space. Hope to see more LATAM spaces on the channel. 😊
Really love this space, it has a Scandinavian feel to it with its white walls and pale wood, it’s compact but has space for two and a really complete kitchen and super nice bathroom. Love the wallpaper in the bedroom for some reason it gives depth to the room.
What an amazing design duo. Proportion is the most important thing in design, a painting or object scaled up or down has a dramatic effect. A postcard can become a masterpiece and a toy can become a beautiful sculpture. Play with proportion/relation to other objects and things get even more fun!
A lot if people in the comment seems to forget the space is designed to fit the owners, not you. Maybe the shelving unit looks bulky, but if the owner prefers a fold-out bed over a sofa bed, that's their input to make. The choice of elements kept in the rooms must have agreed with the client's lifestyle too.
What's the point of a sofa facing a shelf though? They can't put artwork there either because it doubles as a bed and the shelves are used for storage- there's nothing to look at, just wood. The sofa ends up becoming a bit useless because it's so isolated
With a concrete floor I would likely be shopping for rugs or maybe even save up for flooring. I never would have thought of vertical tiles in the bathroom; what a good idea! Congratulations.
Always love these different design solutions. My only critique (with out knowing the objective of the client) is that seems a shame to lose the extra storage for that tiny murphy bed. I feel like that's a permanent solution for a temporary inconvenience like house guest.
It's so nice to see an episode from my metro area! Some 50's - 80's Australian apts shown here had some similarities with the housing stock in Bs. As. from that time, and I would've loved to see how they could manage some of that style here. Loved it, will definitely save this vid for the future.
Beautiful! I love the fact that you don't have move around the furniture to use thr apartment. The only thing seems calls my attention is the tini tiny sink for the dishes.
I love it when these spaces have full-size fridges and furniture that doesn't have to be assembled.
That's because 44 sqm is not small.
I always hold my breath for the rare desk/work space.
That modular furniture that you have to pull out and assemble would get old really quickly! I wouldn’t want to have to “work” just to get a table to sit at!
yea I like that they have that table behind the couch. I'm always concerned with cooking space in these places, but I could deal with this

Sorry, not really a fan of the pink tiles.
same, the bathroom was really cool.
Brilliant use of older/existing elements into modern design. Super functional, not at all pretentious. Just lovely...

Loved it but would have used the sofa as an extra bed in order to take advantage of the extra space in the storage unit.
The sister does live there from time to time so they might’ve decided on the bed because it’s easier to set up than the sofa bed.
I also thought that even if the sister will Star there from time to time. I also woult have took four cocking spots over countertop space every time! Saying that with a Kitchen way smaller than this.

yeah and had it against the wall to open up the area. seems too close to that cabinet/tv area
