  • How to make Raw Chocolate Avocado slice - How often do you gear yourself up to make a delicious and impressive raw dessert for friends, only to find you need to an expensive piece of equipment like a vitamix or thermomix to achieve the right consistency?
    This Raw Chocolate and Avocado Slice can not only be whipped up in a regular food processor, but it’s full of 100% healthy whole foods and good quality fats.
    We used orange zest in this recipe to give it a classic jaffa flavour, but feel free to substitute the orange rind with peppermint essence for a choc-mint version, fresh or frozen raspberries for a choc-berry extravanganza or perhaps you’d like to stir through some cacao nibs for an epic choc-chip crunch. You’re welcome.

    made it last night for guests... but I substituted half of the avocados with silken tofu and I left out the coconut oil in the base (just means you might want to put it in the freezer for a bit before serving). Everyone loved it!!! Thanks Bondi Harvest

    • @boardergirlsj
      @boardergirlsj 10 лет назад

      blizzaroxxx Yes, I am. Cocoa, chocolate, foods and drinks contain these. I can live with it. Better than lactose or gluten intolerance. I still bake with chocolate and cocoa powder, I just don't eat it. More left for my family. :)

    • @jaylynn444
      @jaylynn444 7 лет назад

      Traditional chocolate is cooked & processed. Have you tried Raw Cacao powder? It's simply the cacao bean grounded. COCO powder is cooked, so it's lost most of the nutrients. Raw Cacao is the highest antioxidant food on the planet. You may already know this, but a lot of peeps don't so I thought I'd throw it out there & you can make this recipe for your family AND you :)

    Hi Bondi, I just discovered your channel & clicked "follow" a minute into the recipe! ;) FYI, I only follow a handful of people :) This recipe looks amazing - I'm making it tonight! Did you use "coco" or "raw cacao"? I will be using raw cacao for the nutrients (and so the recipe is a true RAW recipe, because that's my business), but just curious? I love your energy & cute personality! Cheers!

    Hello. I'm loving your creations! I need some chocolate today, and have all the ingredients so woohoo!! However.... are you sure that's raw cocoa (cacao)? the stuff I get is much much lighter, almost terracotta coloured. I'm thinking yours is roasted. Prefer the colour of yours. Maybe different beans produce different tones? xx

    I would love to know one thing...
    Is it normal for coconut oil to be so expensive? The only one I saw by an organic brand was like 4-5€ for maybe 5-6 Tablespoons like you showed in the video...
    I would love to try it, but it seems very expensive to me :/
