Khadija Yahia Adam (name has been changed) is an experienced midwife and one of the more than 600,000 Sudanese refugees now trying to survive in Chad. Unable to work formally she has been trained as a volunteer by Doctors Without Borders, supporting much-needed antenatal and postnatal care and referrals for safe delivery care with Doctors Without Borders in Adré. "I want to keep mothers and babies safe."
