In today’s video, we are in the Philippines! This country is known for the most pristine beautiful breathtaking islands, but have you heard of the most famous, or infamous, shopping area in Manila called Greenhills? This is where I am heading today to buy an entire fake designer outfit. Clothes, a handbag, maybe a hat, some shoes.. with a budget of $80. Let's see what we can turn this into! Hi Haley! Just an advise, the next time they give you the first price, ask them how much is the "last price" then when they lowered the price, don't fall for it just yet. Try to bid more for a lower price and if they won't agree, act as if you're not getting it anymore. Surely they'll give you the lowest price possible. Don't worry, they won't give a price they won't profit from. That's really how it goes. Nice content btw 😊

for your first tawad, always go HALF PRICE. if they say 1000 initially, start with ~500 and negotiate. then pretend to walk away. 8/10 times they will give you a reasonable price :)
That's the tackiest T-shirt ive ever seen, the design is hysterically ridiculous but i love that you actually purchased it and dare I say you rocked it.
I find it fascinating what people call "fake." I've seen Burberry leather key tags fro $150, Louis Vuitton handbags that cost more than a new car. Unless it's made out of virgin unicorn hide and stiched with spun diamond, no purse is worth that much. Places like Greenhills I love because they point out that paying an obscene amount of money for something quite average that just happens to be "branded" is what is truly "fake"

Greenhills is a shopping haven for any locals, foreigners and Balikbayans, it's a must place to visit, but be warned there's a lot of manloloko, when haggling for a price start half the price right away but hey your learning to haggle now pinoy style, though you could have been in a best area with a better quality products, looks like you enjoyed your shopping, 👍😘
No way you pay 1,500 for a shirt and short. You can pay less than that if you bring some local that knows how to negotiate prices. Keep safe 😉

I what realized about fashion.. in a nutshell. If your not good looking, no matter how expensive you wear, nobody cares. And if your good looking no matter what you wear, you will still look good. It dosen't really matter if its a kmart brand as long as the fitting is good. Just stick with neutral colors plain white, black, gray, dark green, dark blue and beige, you'll never go wrong. Save your money lol
Agree with you so much! I feel bad for some who have to go buy the most expensive attire but they still end up looking less expensive... I think it mostly depends on how you carry yourself with a little bit of grace, poise & confidence....which not everyone possesses. Some would still look classy and glam even with just a plain shirt and denim jeans with the right cut and fit and attitude 👍👍👍

The first rule of haggling is to not speak in English. Second is to wear clothes that make you look like you don't have any money. Ask for the price and then look inside your wallet and seem like you don't have enough money. And then just say thank you and walk away. Hahaha. They will ask what price you want for it. And just smile and say a price that's a bit below your already super lowball offer so you can get the last price. If you're not satisfied with their last price. Walk away again. And see what price they come up with. It works wonders.

I have a *amzclothes* dress that I bought in 2019, a white LV dress. It is counter quality and the fit and fabric are still the same as when I bought it. I think as long as it makes you happy, it's fine. I've also seen LV use plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I'm resubscribing. I like this new format of your vids. They're very interesting to watch, entertaining and somewhat educational. I'm glad that you're slowly finding your niche in the youtube universe. I used to subscribe to Wil when he was just starting out, then of course subscribed to you when you first started vlogging with your iphone, but then I got bored with your vlogs since I thought they were confusing and they lacked any interesting content and had no direction. But I think with this new format, you've improved for the better! Keep it up and congratulations!
I once forgot my video camera in one of the stalls in Greenhills, took me like a half hour to back track my steps and find all the stores I went to, but I finally found it and they were pretty honest and returned it to me so kudos to them :)

Haha so fun! As much as I love fashion, I couldn't get myself to buy and pull off knock-offs. I might as well just save up and support the art form. Plus, I try to avoid fast-fashion when I can. Gotta' save the earth.
PS: From what you've shown, some of them really are replicas of the original with some subtle nuances with how it's made. Like the bejeweled Gucci sandals and sneakers. Some of them really are collabs, too.

Greenhills is also a tiangge for the upper class because a lot of upper class families in Manila live there. You can visit Market Market in BGC next time for a cheaper option. Last Christmas, I bought sweatshirts for my cousins for Php 100 ($2) a piece there. They got better designs too, imo. 😊

There are some factories here in philippines manufactures some imported brands they are found mostly in laguna companies. Thats why theres a factory outlet of Nike in laguna.

I was in Taglibaran city in Sept. a far cry from Greenhills, and behind the BQ mall is a 2 story building with a Dept store on the upper level, and to my surprise they had a whole wall of Knock offs. MK, Gucci, Fendi, just about all of them, I bought 3 Michael Kors bags with matching clutch for 9 bucks US, lol. you can buy those bags on Canal St in NYC, for 20 US. This video was so much fun.

Try shopping in over run shop they sale real designer t-shirt from 150 pesos and above. Visit two shopping mall in baclaran in second floor they sale a lot of fake designer bag 250 to 380 pesos only.

Yes I thought it was funny that the girl with the Burka new what trendy was. And saying can I keep the change. I was buying load for my friend in Robinson in Manila and I also loaded up an old phone that I brought from the states, and the little snot asked me if I was going to tip her. And as a rule I do say keep the change if its like 50 peso or something, because I know the struggle there is real. But don't ask for a tip.
