Hey Jim, you have to love the Irving Big Stops. They are my choice for food and gas on every trip east. The New Brunswick rain can be heavy when it hits. It seems that if you put on your rain gear, the rain stops. If you don't put on your rain gear, the heavens open up. Yes, it got me several times as well. Great to follow along and listen to your story. Catch you on the next one.
I'm 74.. thought I was the only person who is older than Jim watching this series!. It was good reading your post. Both my parents lived beyond 92 and I've found myself thinking of them often and knowing my time is ahead. But, at least if genetics count (and they do), I need to lighten up and enjoy the days and rides still before me.
Memories are so important. We exist as long as someone remembers us which makes me keep my memories alive. My videos will give me great joy in another 20 years I am sure.
Keep as active as much as one can as long as one can. We don't need to be doing motocross but we can't just sit on the couch. Although this Goldwing kinda seems like a couch sometimes.
Fun to see my brother David Holt taking pictures of you leaving Five Islands, as I did of you leaving Sausalito! Great video. We sure had fun chasing our memories of Liverpool when we were little.
It is a hoot when the video creator becomes the video subject. Had a great time at David's as well as a great time visiting you. Should be editing that by February?
Jim; Hope your Thanksgiving was good!! Good Video!! Your sounding and looking good!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!! God Bless safe ridin rubber down
I usually feel best between 100 and 110 kph, 60-70 mph on the main highways. I will try to find more secondary roads when I can and love cruising around 90 kph/55 mph. I don't have to be the fastest bike on the roads with retirement.
Another great video! I've been noticing there seems to be a little more side to side sway with the minimate camera compared to when it was hooked to the ST...is the tongue weight off a bit? You did add a storage box on the reach? Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe out there!!😎🤙👍🤙👍🇨🇦
Same storage box and weight as I pulled the 106 days with the ST. I had not noticed in the videos but now I'll have to take a look. Certainly never had the trailer feel anything else but stable all summer. I think this was a different camera on the trailer. Maybe a little wider angle. Now I'll have to take a better look at new and old video.
Real born again Christians have a great hope of being reunited with friends and family in Heaven. The promise is out of this world but God does not lie- Jesus paid with His life that we might have that great hope. Nice video and Hi from Picton Ont
I have a habit of chasing memories.

You hit the rule of rain gear. Thanks for coming along.
Old Guy, man as we become more 'seniors' in age, memories are more meaningful. As I've mentioned, closing on 92. I can relate.

@@richardmourdock2719 Thanks Richard, a joy reading your comment. I dunno, think positive and stay as active as possible. Life is good.

Yes Richard, we will continue as long as we can and enjoy every minute. Every ride is a bonus.

I celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving on the road the week after leaving your place but I am always up to more pumpkin pie.
Really enjoy you taking us along on your travels, What's the average speed you set when traveling on the hwys?

So... is the V6 decal just for a conversation starter?? 👍🏼
The previous owner loved all things chrome. He glued them on really well... so yes, I am leaving them there as conversation starters. They work lol.

Always good to keep those memories alive this side of the grave too. Thanks for coming along.
if it is too windy the wind mills will stop as they will go to fast and can't hold at 60HZ so the power is no good for the grid
Ahhh. Didn't think it was that windy of a day but that makes sense. Thanks.
@@OldGuyonaBike that is not the only reason they shut down hahaha just one of them
