Both cars are jostling for dominance in this category, and therefore there will be a few points to consider which may not even be car related, like servicing, breakdown repairs and also number of places to be able to do these things. We are beginning to see the plateau of features that an EV can provide, just like how IOS and Android compete with each other. At the end of the day, the price still plays the most important factor, IMHO.
Thanks for the good review, Arif. One more addition is when you leave the car, it auto locks itself. Interior is definitely better than the Atto 3 as well as handling.
Sucks that your version gets ventilated seats and the Australian one doesn't despite our climate! Our one advantage is ours get a full size spare tyre which is very useful in our market, but the lack of ventilated seats is a massive miss.
Yes, i have test driven both atto 3 and Omoda E5, when hard acceleration it requires extra attention to make sure cars are going straight, it feels floaty and its a deal breaker for me
For its size, perhaps Michelin Primacy 4 or Continental EcoContact 6 Q. The Smart #1 Premium is on a set of EcoContacts. Not exactly "EV" tyres but it does the job. "EV" tyres like Pirelli Pzero Elect are great, but I'm not sure if it's available for 18-inch wheels. I quite liked it on the Volvo C40. Michelin Pilot Sport EV is nice too if you're willing to spend.

Why your omoda is so slow?, in many youtube test , omoda can do 0-100 , under 7 sec. Around 6,6 sec, faster than atto 3, even i saw, on moladin youtube channel, both car do drag racing, on same road, omoda is faster
We're wondering ourselves. In March 2024, the Chery Omoda E5 was officially listed with a 0-100km/h time of 7.6 seconds on the Chery Malaysia website. Now it has been updated to 7.2 seconds.
chinese naming their stuff is just weird.. sometime they name their car like a factory name and sometime they name their phone a barcode scanner from mall
Arif should seriously consider having his own youtube channel.
Omoda 5 ev interior is less spacious than the Atto 3. But the looks inside is way better in the omoda 5 ev.

Quite comprehensive review.
Great !
One of the best review of Omoda E5
Glad you liked it 👍

I experienced the same thing too... I tested the E5 earlier today in rainy condition. Only tapped slightly more and it torque steers
Hello fellow viewers; what would you recommend off these; MG4, Dolphin, ZS EV and Atto 3?
@@shreekrishnashrestha5684 European love MG 4 because RWD, Chinese will choose the shiniest interrior.
Brakes included or extra charges?
Damn the intro lighting looks so cinematic
The interior style and colour reminds me of the green version of GWM Ora Good Cat. Not hard to see the Mercedes Benz influences too.
I thought atto 3 give rm20k price discount on both spec atto3 ? 😮
For exterior - interior design, tech, power, electric consumption and value for money goes to Omoda E5
Can you play videos on the screen using iphone or android? 10:25
If yes how? Or only using USB drive?
soalan 1st, dalam membeli kereta, air cond dia sejuk x?
In terms of better tyres, what would you recommend?

Arif is so handsome, please do more of him!
Atto 3 drives better 😉
No it doesn’t 🤣
Atto 3 drive like sampan
Atto still look better then the omoda i think. The omoda looks like a car with tiny leg🤷🏼♀️
@@Serenity___. That is personal taste. I like omoda e5 better. Byd looks weird front fascia and dash. Rear is good

Nice, it os worth value for money. Driving it for the a month now
6:20 cricket flies on the seats and linger around.
Extra RM for reinforced rear axle? 😅
N the most important thing about how flat the rear seats fold is not even shown 😂
This over the Atto3 anyday. Atto3 interior is fugly af. 😂
Brakes not included
Terbaik bro
Terima kasih bro
can it brake?

@@arif-chan please test, using draggy or racebox. thank you

Omoda definitely not slower than atto 3. Drag test already performed by Indonesian reviewer.
you know its slight bias when Cons became Bad bad and Pros became just alright.🤣
Ariff Ariff Ariff.... chill man...
hmm.. so only in New Zealand that have spare tyre.
In nepal too
6:19 that bug
4:57 Cyndaquil .. it’s Cyndaquil
Hei, omoda can get 6.6s for 0 to 100
CKD quality of Malaysian workshop is worse compare to Indonesia. We have no brake issue here.
How do you know? Any prove on your claims?
@@Atr72fc I have Omoda 5, no brake issue
Also Indonesian build Omoda 5/E5 never any has broken rear arms
