Trump supporters rally in Louisville, Ky. amid summer of protests

- A summer of street marches will culminate over the Labour Day holiday weekend in the United States, with some rallies backing U.S. President Donald Trump, while others continue protests against racial inequality and police violence across the country.
Trump's supporters have organized rallies for the weekend, including a plan by supporters in Georgia to decorate their vehicles in American flags and signs and drive loops around Atlanta on Interstate 285 to "show our love and pride for our country and this president," according to organizers.
In Louisville, Ky., a crowd of reportedly hundreds of people, some of whom were heavily armed like militia and included supporters of Trump, rallied on Saturday morning as "Black Lives Matter" protests were planned elsewhere in the city, demanding that the police officers involved in the fatal shooting of local woman Breonna Taylor be charged.
Taylor, a Black 26-year-old medical worker, was killed on March 13 by Louisville police who burst into her apartment with guns bearing a "no-knock" arrest warrant.
Her death, alongside that of George Floyd, a Black man who died in May after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck, helped spark one of the largest protest movements in the country's history, with near-daily protests in cities ever since.
The nationwide demonstrations have moved to the forefront of Trump's re-election campaign for the Nov. 3 presidential election.

I probably disagree with everyone at this protest. But the fact they can protest in peace is a welcome sight in the midst of a summer which has been anything but.
Of course it's peaceful, so many of them were loaded with guns that could wipe the entire crowd out. It was only a thin line between peaceful protest and Mexican stand off.

In anti-war protests during the Vietnam War (and it was never disrespectful to our military. . .on the contrary nearly all of us were either military or had family members in Vietnam. . .we wanted them home. . . wanted this "police action" . . it was not "war" and therefore Vets were then not entitled to Veteran benefits. . the story is long and there were many reasons it was not well thought out. BUT the Police were always present at these demonstrations - not to maintain "order" but to "protect" demonstrators! Are police for "law and order" or for "protection of our communities" . . .these became separated by racism. As protesters were were grateful for the presence of police all along our march routes. . we knew they were there to protect our rights to peaceful protest. Isn't that what is needed in Kentucky today? I doubt whether Trumps armed militia would be there because they believed the police were not able to do that job! If the National Guard is called out, it should be to help the police protect the peaceful protesters!

I'm from the South and during the Civil Rights era, from the late 1950s through the 1960s, the Klan would call and target Civil Right protesters that they called (agitators). It's funny how that word has only targeted at a select group of people for 70 years now.

Concerning 1:00, I thought Angry Viking was going to be some arrogant racist jerk, but hearing him talk, he sounds level headed, but people there agreeing with him saying this is not about race or hating anyone, is totally full of it.
