Please read the descriptions. This leg of the trip was so amazing! There was so much more to add, but I only record and take photos at certain times and spend most of my time experiencing things with my eyes and ears (and taste in terms of food). A few things of note - I really love Shinjuku and will explore more on my next trip. The music scene there is awesome...I miss seeing so many places back home like this that have closed down forever. I hope places Antiknock, Hatsudai Wall, El Puente, and Eggman can stay around for a long time to come. We need more places like this.
Really enjoying your vlogs! Makes me miss being over there a ton. I'm jealous that you got to see Gungire and NEK! I also booked Hiro-san for one of the shows I went to and he's a super cool guy! It feels like he knows everyone and he's got a lot of great stories to tell. I can't wait for my next trip, hopefully next year
@@Scruffy_619 That's awesome man!!! From now on, if anyone needs guidance and don't know where to start, I'm going to refer people to Hiro-san too. I'll be there next year as well, so hopefully the timing works out and we can hit up some shows🤘🎶🎶🎶
I stumbled on your channel and you looked familiar. met you and your daughter at NEK! but i was also at the anti knock Gungire show. in the after show crowd photo I'm in the black band maid hat next to Michal Barbour in the white hat
@@Hogie-iv8bd Hey man!!!! I remember you too! I hope you've been well and I'm glad you found this channel! I don't really promote it heavily, but I really enjoy making useful content for people. Looking forward to the next time we cross paths again🤘😎
Superb!! I love this content, yes....even the karaoke!😅 I love to sing as well, so a a song in Nihongo should be a goal for my first visit! Also, I can't believe you guys caught the new band NEK! I really love what I've heard from them so far. So cool to meet up with R Mear as well. Perhaps I should make myself known in the circles of reactors and gaijin superfans a little more, because no one around me even knows what the hell I'm talking about!! Babymetal? Hagane who??🤣 I also should learn more about potentially utilizing a host family. So far, I only have one recently made FB (mutual LOVEBITES fan) friend from Yokohama. Looking forward to more!
That is great to hear! I totally recommend learning songs in your target language! It's super fun and a great challenge. NEK! was amazing and I think they have the potential to become big. I wish I could have recorded in Eggman, but they were strict about it. Let's see what the future holds for this band. It's tough still to find people who know much about J-Rock, but definitely more and more people are learning about the awesome music from there. In addition, I have started a video on international travel with my tips and advice. It will be around a month before I can complete, but I hope you find it useful. :-)
@@bsterling2069 I'm glad you liked it!!! I tried my best to include the experience. I'm not actually a vlogger, so most of the time it was my own eyes and ears, but tried to remember to take a lot of photos and video this trip! 😎
