I’ve never had issues. Get tapered blocks not straight blocks. Keep your pinion as close to OEM as possible and you’ll be fine. Do it right. Don’t do it ghetto

Yes, but a correctly built 1,000HP car will also have either ladder bars or 4 bars to hold the axle in place.
