He's a setupper indeed, so the differences between a fresh and a fleshed out one become even bigger (like Zato or Bridget for example) with due time. As for now, its crazy damage already make him feel pretty powerful imho, and while is super early to place it in a tier list, i have the feeling this mattress will be way less soft to handle than a lot of people think
Really nice combos, I used to hate bedman back in Guilty gear strive Revelator, but now it seems more organized and easier to follow, might give it a try
@@funnymannumber8651 I mean, Bedman’s neutral is better than Sin’s at a glance and I feel that’s where Sin really falls short. And Bedman at least has a functioning mechanic on launch where Sin’s food special practically carries no value outside being a legacy piece to the character. It feels like a cosmetic/taunt, rng buffs that hardly change the match dynamic. Goldlewis and Jack O have refill gauges but they’re much more integral and dynamic. Goldlewis having it specifically for his anti zoning tools and Jack O given installs to lock her meter and having different minion actions changing her gauge. Sin just has a follow up that takes meter and doesn’t really reward him in any way besides making him safe from painfully minus moves (besides elk hunt).
Where would you people place May competitively? I don't think there is an absolutely clear answer for any character in this game, tbh, but I'd still like to hear other people's thoughts. Because I feel like she sometimes seems more "annoying" than genuinely strong. That's at least my experience against her 🤷♂️
She is both annoying and strong. She's one of the most brain-dead characters that says press button give me results lol. I fought a lot of chaos players on the celestial floor but I don't get annoyed by them unless they only do zoning. Since I main him I already know what to expect half the time. However, against May, it's a different story lol.
Rank 1 bedman now vs rank 1 bedman in a few months are probably going to be night and day difference

People have already found you can TOD people for DPing when you have full meter, I’m very interested to see what’ll be cooked up in a month or so
That's just time works. People get more experience.
@@massimilianodelrosso5495 the "mattress"... pun intended?
May players be like "Why would I walk when I can dolphin?"
Lol
That is how a good option works yes

Bc of her buffs, most top players suspect she’s top 3 along with happy chaos and ram. Even before her crazy buffs, a may player was 2nd at evo.
you prob didn't saw these one shot combos

Annoying and strong no sugarcoating it. That's just what may is

Parece mesmo, por isso que ela é fofa, kkk
she has the same voice actor as Anya too!
bedman is such an annoying character
The far more annoying character, May, is right there.
SUPER fun if you’re using it though. Has a lot of tools to use for various scenarios.
