- A slow pursuit traveling under 5 mph ended in San Diego Thursday morning after a BMW refused to pull over after a traffic violation according to SDPD.
"Maybe if I drive really slowly for an hour or so I will sober up by the time they arrest me..."

I feel sorry and sad for the San Diego taxpayer. What a crude way to squander the effort of the workers, to do this cowardly antics. Two dozen patrol cars, fuel, uniforms, weapons, etc. It was cheaper to give the criminal a BMW SUV.
the patrol cars only got maybe a mile added to them, the fuel use is lower than what would have been regularly used if they were just patrolling, the guns didn't get fired, and they'd have uniforms regardless. it would have been cheaper to give him an rc car but if you think this pursuit cost 45k$ you're out of your fucking mind
