Why I chose IIT Delhi over CSE branch at other IITs?

- Hello everyone!
In this video I share with you why I chose IIT Delhi Mathematics and Computing branch over Computer Science Engineering in other institutes like IIT KGP, Roorkee, BHU, Guwahati, BITS Pilani and other NITS and IIITs.
Many of you asked me to make a video on JoSAA councelling 2023 so here I share the most important tip according to me. Please keep in mind the content in the video is only my opinion and you may believe otherwise.

I'd say all of these things are there in IIT Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, IITD might just edge out by a bit due to its location but nowhere near enough for someone to leave good branches in other IITs, this case is fine because MnC is a great branch but if it comes down to like MnC at KGP or chemical at IITD, considering the student has no prior interest in chemical, then KGP should be preferred, also considering that the student has no goal like UPSC or something, but if someone does, and its very clear from the beginning, then yes IITD could be preferred.

@@vikashgautam1708 NIT Allahabad if you want to pursue cse and you are really adamant about cse jobs. But for IITian tag, take IITD civil or IITG chemical. But the counselling has already started so idk what you picked
Got IIT Roorkee Electrical in JoSAA and also have an option of BITS Pilani CSE. Very much confused. Please help.
@@priyanshagrawal1867 If you want cse and I mean if you want cse for the best placement possible, then take BITS cse. It's a better college in terms of education, placement, opportunities, higher education and entrepreneurship. But if you not that much interested and adamant about cse and just want to get though college with whatever branch you want, then take IIT roorkee. But i will still suggest BITS for cse, alumni netwrok and higher ed. But if you want to have that "IITian" tag then take IIT R
@@priyanshagrawal1867 I was also getting a lower branch in old IIT but I am going for IT/CS in NSUT. And I still have a chance at BITS because I am giving session 2, my paper is tomorrow.

First of all congratulations that's a great result. I'd say you can take a really good college at this rank but if you're definite to join the top IITs then one drop year would not hurt at all. I do believe that putting one extra year is completely worth it. It's upto you to decide. Just think properly take your time and take the decision that you're satisfied with

It is a tough choice, 5year degree ke agar bilkul against ho toh Delhi but I'd say one extra year doesn't really matter and if you pursue your core then the Masters would anyway help. I'd have gone for IITB

No, only in october-early november and it only happens near industral areas and yamuna bank areas. Trust me, I live near IIT Delhi, air is pretty clean and it's in prime South Delhi location with greenery all around
