As senegalese I have to precise that « Asking permission » means letting them know when you’re leaving and when returning in order reassure them. Telling them when people come to you is nothing but for them to prepare the « Teranga » (hospitality) for your friends. Great video❤
Thank you so much for making this video. As an older female, it was really nice to see the transparency in the experience as I am very very heavily considering serving in 2022. I liked seeing the challenges and the rewarding experiences as I think it will fuel my drive to volunteer as well as manage my own expectations. Much love.
Hmmm, I am currently in the application process. 62 y/o woman retired from healthcare. Now I am having second thoughts. Thank you for the honest informative video.

Really enjoyed this video! This is one of the only videos I have found that addresses the struggles that come with the Peace Corps. Thank you!
So well done. Thank you. I wish every post would make a video like this. It would really help new volunteers.
This video is so helpful! It addresses a lot of the concerns I have as I consider applying for the peace corps!
Good job Franco, that would be nice to have an Ag PCV too.
