I just bought this but haven't used it yet. Wondering is it required to make a password on this device? Or can I just start using it right away? Thanks for this video!
thanks sm for posting this, and btw i seen what these top comments say and how your new vidoes are, keep improving like that and one day youll be at the top of unbox vids
Thanks! I was wondering Where do i go from there when after i plug it in to the USB port and the thing pops up with 3 or 4 lines of wordings like Application and Launcher. and stuff. I didn't know what i needed to do with that.
Wow, thank you so much! It is great to see it all unboxed and used first. I am excited about using this product. Great video! I was pretty excited when I saw how fast the transfer went. And I think it was pretty much to the point.
If wanting to access my files from this SSD on someone else's PC/Mac, I do not need to download Samsung software on theirs? Just plug in, fingerprint/pw, and can instantly read/write?
Yes I believe so as long as you put in your password or fingerprint you should be good … it might ask you to download the software but you should be able to download it without any internet because I believe it’s already on the ssd it self

@@DR1DL3Y thank you. I started doing that as Samsung provides no clear instructions, especially for dummies like me. The ssd shows file types like videos, music etc but nothing changes when downloading. Really appreciate your response. 🙏
@@DR1DL3Y After working on this for a while, I discovered that I had to add the SSD T7 to my network or backup something or other. Anyway, I got it hooked up and working......it did take a long time (more than an hour to back up my MacBook Pro M1. ???
I agree with dannysandoval and billhensly but I like this video still bc it's the computer version of a car repair video. haha So don't be ashamed this is a gem.
You obviously dont know how to read because the paperwork in the bix is the instructions. And besides an SSD isnt hard to use. Do you need instructions for tying your own shoes?
Far too much mucking around with. Sorry I won't be subscribing to your channel opening the package. No need for all the descriptive nature, get on with the important stuff

lousy video - dark, hard to hear and who cares about how to open a box and measure the device....get to the point at the beginning and do the demonstration!
Thanks for watching, what are your thoughts?

Your welcome, glad my video was helpful to you
would this make lightroom work faster?
some editing features respond really slow
Yes to some extent it would make your Lightroom faster.
Awesome! Thanks - but, like, does PSSD application not actually do anything besides password changes?
Not that I know of
Back to the drawing board - this is like 1980's quality...
😂
Hi! Could you use this for games or for downloading games?
Yes not all console games are compatible to play off the ssd thou
Thank you, friend!

I have mistakely clicked format button and lost the setup icons , how can i get it back. kindly please help me out
I believe you can download them back on from samsung
Thank you for the help friend.
Your welcome friend
ok, how can you upload your SD card photos onto it without using your computer?
Plug them both in your computer then just copy and paste
@DR1DL3Y I did that. I was wanting to know why the app doesn't work on my phone? It just says cannot not find it.
I don’t think it’s made for phones
Hi, the Samsung T7 is good for use in Xbox Series S to play games?
Yea but only certain games you can play directly off the SSD
Ok, thank you so much 🙏🏻
Also I would more recommend the Samsung t7 shield. Check out the video I made on it. I also did a video about how to use it on Xbox.
Does it have fiture for autosync or autoback up?
No that what I know of you might be able to do it with a 3rd party software
I got mine 6/5/23. How is yours holding up?
Great

i have buy a 2 tb one for all my pokemon 24 seasons and movies on high quality
Wow that’s alot of pokemon
i need to keep them becouse the old seasons are hard to find and 9/10 they are bad quality
Oh fr … sounds like you can start a business, reselling the original copies since they are so hard to find. 🤔
No need to have music. Distracting
Thanks for that feedback I really appreciate I will make my next video better.
Thanks for taking the time, but yeah I echo other peoples thoughts, its dark and confusing, needs a lot more editing down.
Sorry about that in my next video it will be better
What it is the Speed with USB A 3.0.
I don’t know it off the top of my head but it’s pretty fast!

I presumed it had an internal programme like sandisk. Not just drop & drag. Thank you again 🙏
Yea it does have a internal app where you can set a password if you want. Glad I was able to help you
@@DR1DL3Y Yes it allows for a password but that is about it plus drop & drag. Cheers Danielle.🙏
When I plugged mine in none of this happened. Doesn't do anything. Have to get in touch with Samsung.
Sounds like you have a faulty SSD

It all depends on what you have on your Macbook
I think this would have been a great video - only problem can barely hear and hardly see! Jeez!
Sorry about that I will improve the quality in my up coming videos
Does this thing need to be formatted?
No it should work right out of the box. However sometimes it requires you to format the ssd on certain devices
