Hey there, beautiful fish! I'm wondering how to use this method with a small goldfish. Do you have to cut them open at all to put the powder in? Also do you know if a goldfish will shrink a lot since they are more round?
I think goldfish are a little bit too beefy for that. They would shrink massivly and I think they don't dry out as fast as the should. I wouldn't try it. You can put it in a jar of 80% Alcohol tho that works.

Okay, that's what I was worried about. I'll have to try it on one of my smaller fish if they end up dieing. Thanks for the video and the tips!
@@loisthetaxidermistdoes it work with a saltwater fish
Stortch 💀 great job mate
After preserving a fish like this can you put it on a display or does it have to be forever sealed away in some kind of container
since it's just dryed it's best to pit it in a container although it might work to display it if you spray it with some pesticide.

please can you taxidermy a rabbit?
Mhhh rabbits are really hard to do and I would prefer not mounting them. Maybe a hare sometime in the future.
12 centimetres are 12 centimetres 🥸🧐
Hey I'm wondering where you get your foam for bird forms?
Your local Hardware store should have it.
@@loisthetaxidermist they do, but it only comes in 1 or 2 inch sheets. I went and bought some last night though
