Holy Cow🐄! I'm really late catching Sam Wilder this week. Had a bunch of errands first thing today after the big weekend, but Pony 🐈⬛and Nana from Montana are happily sharing this pastry adventure 🥰😋
Happy newish subscriber here, love your videos, you are hilarious! The diversity of your content is great, but I gotta say the budget challenges are a personal favourite. Keep up the fun and entertaining content, Cheers from across the pond! 😊
chocolate twist is my favourite and panaraisin is an B class And Almond crossant is my favourite so it is A class i like a pecan and maple twist But the hazle nut chocokate crossant is to sweet for me. And i like an all butter crossant.
As a Portuguese person. I am glad that u put S on Pastel de nata😄. Ps: try more Portuguese bakery, cuisines because u will luv it trust me and I know because I live in the Uk and gave to my uk friends. ❤
Great video, quick note on the Pan aux Raisins. When we would make them in my old farm shop we would spread a Crème Pâtissière with rum on the dough before we rolled them up, this gives a wobbly 'custard' in the middle, a bit like a bread and butter pudding, the texture you had was correct, it wasn't undercooked dough. Keep up with the good work, loved the chair btw 👍🏼
The packaged muffins I’ve had all taste the same, Which is what I love. Other muffins I have don’t ever taste the same (they are always slightly different). I do love some of the stuff from the Lidl bakery, The cookies, the pretzel and pretzel roll and the muffins.
I used to get the cheese twists when my children where at school not had one for years i think you just re kindled my love of them will go going to get some tomorrow … if you like jam donuts you should try them from coop there amazing
One day out walking in a country lane Mollie the basset found a whole pink donut. She managed to eat it all without putting it down, defo wasn't handing it over! I think she gave it an "S" ..... 😂 PS the whole basset pack say brilliant cat charity thingy, and can they eat all your bakery leftovers too?
I was put off my bakery cookies suffered cross contamination and tasted of savoury possibly pizza or cheese pastry. But their sandwich baguettes are lovely
In the US, Lidl is pretty much all in one area of the country that's too far south for me to travel to unless I'm takig a couple of days to hit that part of the States. Everything looks pretty yummy, though!
I work at lidl and can confirm that the cheesecake brownies, although very popular, isn't a permanent line. they're classed as "special guests" meaning they only come in every so often. But as of right now they are discontinued :))
My fave from the Lidl bakery is the choc hazelnut doughnut, though I also enjoy the maple plait and yum yum A couple of others I've tried more recently are the almond croissant and the caramel ring doughnut I've also tried the goat's cheese and pesto focaccia but mine was a bit doughy - don't know if it was already like that or whether the microwave made it like that. I'm just gonna stick to the sweet stuff from now on
Lid's bakery is so good for it's money . I'm not a chocolate fan of ,but I do like a pecan and maple slice . An porchages egg custard tart is the best I've ever tasted .m&s are just not as good . I don't like bonuts with pouder suger or ons with iceing on .yumyums are so good with a coffee .Take care and all the best. 👍👍👍👍👍
Goodness I can’t believe how much food you were able to consume in one hit ! Even taking a small section of each must have amounted to a zillion calories! Having said that you do seem to be able to keep your slim physique so clearly no harm done 😂. Love your videos.
B tier for the jam doughnuts? 😢 Also pink is always soft and easy to get stuck into. Brown is typically hard and difficult to penetrate (at least most times I've tried).
I reject the premise of anything chocolate being too rich. IMO a chocolate baked good should smack you in the face with chocolate from the first bite or it's a waste of calories, but then I may be abnormal. I eat 85% chocolate bars as my go to...
I bet the cashier hated you, slowed their scan times to a crawl typing in all of the codes. Edit: just got further in the video sounds like you used a self scan, didn't know Lidl had them.
You're not prejudiced against hazelnut-chocolate; you've tried it, which means your opinion isn't preconceived. And I agree; hazelnut-chocolate always wrong.
Where are the Lidl Bakery Cookies? They come in 3 flavours and the standard choc chip is the BEST! People rave about the subway cookies, but they have nothing on the Lidl Bakery cookies imo. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the goods though Sam. I agree, chocolate hazelnut is making chocolate filled things worse!
Can't believe you just raw dogged the whole Lidl bakery so much of that would have been better heated up. That Tiramisu muffin thing is hell on earth, I've never been covered in so much cocoa. Also you missed the rocky road, which is limited edition I think? That's S tier for sure, better than I even make myself and I'm good at making rocky road.
I'm going to agree with the pana choclate - pastry to chocolate always wrong too much pastry too little chocolate Wad there custard inside the chocolate twist that was a bit dense? I can never work out what that pastry you put through as a pana chocolate is as well. yes ithas nuts on the top. I can see from Australia that that cinnamon bun is not good - very dry looking
Cheese twist, choc twist and almond croissant are elite tier.
Thing is it's Lidl bakery. You can't have high standards. For someone on a budget and wants a treat, Lidl bakery is perfect.
Lidl's bakery is so lush, i dont think theres anything bad... until i watched the video..
Thanks!
That’s too kind! Thank you!!
I feel like you cut off the worst parts to try.. the centre of a croissant is so much better than the end! 😂
that’s the best doughnut the first one and the pink sprinkle one xx
Yes more ranking videos would be fab. Another great vid - thanks for the great content!
Not a bad day's work sitting in a comfy chair eating the Lidl bakery... I take this as very informative because Lidl has my kind of prices. 😊

Those yum yums are divine, I agree.. I love the goats cheese thingy too 😊
Loved the ranking video! Please do again with Costa! You could maybe try drinks too?
You’ve earned my trust in food opinions putting yum yums in elite 😂 more ranking videos would be great!
Loved this ranking video Sam. Thank you.
Gordon Ramsay wishes his bakery was this delicious
chocolate twist is my favourite
and panaraisin is an B class
And Almond crossant is my favourite so it is A class
i like a pecan and maple twist

Before watching my personal favourite is the cheese & pesto focaccia topped with tomatoes 😍
Subscriber numbers are whizzing up. Rightly deserved too 👏
Great video, quick note on the Pan aux Raisins. Keep up with the good work, loved the chair btw 👍🏼
Hazelnut croissant is a hear for sure!!!!!
I like the rawness of the cheese twist and pizzas. Nice and underdone!
their bakery stuff is so cheap but so good. Not been to Lidl for many years
Most of it was fab
The packaged muffins I’ve had all taste the same, Which is what I love.
Other muffins I have don’t ever taste the same (they are always slightly different).
I do love some of the stuff from the Lidl bakery, The cookies, the pretzel and pretzel roll and the muffins.
The goats cheese pizza definitely deserves top tier. Its utterly delicious 😋
Lidl Bakery perfect little snack
Love the content Sam me and the wife think your going to make it big some day
Remember the little guys when you do
Ah bless you, thanks! 🙏🏼
Love all the different pretzel bread products
You should do all of greggs imo
I have plans for Greggs 😬
Great upload Sam,
And again Love the Thumbnail
i love the blueberry muffins and all butter crossiants yum!
I really like their pretzels, and not ashamed to admit it.
I reckon if warm it would have scored higher
@@SamWilder. Three minutes in the air fryer works wonders on the pretzels.
Great Video Sam looks like a good bunch of Items from Lidl
the cinnamon buns are INCREDIBLE when you get to the middle 🫡
You missed out the G.I. rolls, which are excellent and good lower-carb options.
Lidl cheese twists are amazing if they are cooked properly.
You need to try a few more Lidl bakeries, then you can make an informed decision 😂
I used to get the cheese twists when my children where at school not had one for years i think you just re kindled my love of them will go going to get some tomorrow … if you like jam donuts you should try them from coop there amazing

Nooo the lidl brownies are top tier, they're always sold out when I go in the evening to shop so stock up on a couple if I ever go early enough XD
13:20 "apple is seasoned well" ah yes very seasoned apple, am sure they added loads of itailan herbs
Raspberry croissants are to die for🤤🤤🤤🤤
Their eton mess blondie was AMAZING 🤩
I was put off my bakery cookies suffered cross contamination and tasted of savoury possibly pizza or cheese pastry.
But their sandwich baguettes are lovely
It can sometimes be due to the tongs.
Next vid - Everything off the Greggs menu. Make it happen, Sam! 😂
That didn't look like a normal brownie , Lidl brownies are goated !!!
I love that little veggie pizza. Shame they never had any lemon meringue donuts, they are god tier!
I love snacks Sam looks like a snack 😍
The goats cheese flatbread is one of my favs 🤤 u should rank all thr greggs items next :D
In the US, Lidl is pretty much all in one area of the country that's too far south for me to travel to unless I'm takig a couple of days to hit that part of the States. Everything looks pretty yummy, though!
I love the raspberry croissant and the rocky road 😋
I didnt see them! Bought everything that was there!

Cinnamon buns are gorgeousssss
These ones weren’t it :(
Video idea when you next go on holiday, I'd love to see you trying and rating food in airport restaurants or airport lounges
expensive video idea 😅
The Cheesecake Brownies they do are absolutely banging. Unfortunately, They haven't had any in the past few times I have been in
Definitely didn’t see them!
I work at lidl and can confirm that the cheesecake brownies, although very popular, isn't a permanent line. they're classed as "special guests" meaning they only come in every so often. But as of right now they are discontinued :))
@@courthicks I patiently await their return
You missed out. The sourdough loaf is 🧑🍳👌
Yes, I agree the seeded sourdough is amazing.
As a diabetic, I think this almost sent me to the hospital! Enjoying it all vicariously.
Hello fellow diabetic 👋🏻
i love the chocolate donuts from the bakery
How much did it all set you back?
My fave from the Lidl bakery is the choc hazelnut doughnut, though I also enjoy the maple plait and yum yum
A couple of others I've tried more recently are the almond croissant and the caramel ring doughnut

most are better heated love the pizzas

My bread bin is completely stuffed too 🙈
Some of the stuff is ok and some of it is just full of cheap ingredients and makes you feel bad the chocolate brownie is ok but much better out there.
Where? They’re the best I’ve had. Loads of choc chunks in them
I love all buttered Croissants
B tier for the jam doughnuts? 😢
Also pink is always soft and easy to get stuck into. Brown is typically hard and difficult to penetrate (at least most times I've tried).
Apple turnovers are lovely.
you should rate the ikea food but the food at the end especially
Lidl also sells some specials from their Bakery but you have to ask nicely or have a face that fits before they will sell it to you .... 😇
My daughter loves the hazelnut and pink donuts
I can't eat gluten but am still watching this 🤣 I miss bread
That start made me think my RUclips app was playing up 😅
😅
You avoided so many euphemisms with the ring donuts!
I reject the premise of anything chocolate being too rich. IMO a chocolate baked good should smack you in the face with chocolate from the first bite or it's a waste of calories, but then I may be abnormal. I eat 85% chocolate bars as my go to...
Where are the cookies😭 i love the cheese twists, but i always have it warmed up!
Could even do. Best bakery item from various supermarkets. Like
Is the M&S Egg custards the best in the UK. 😋
Choc twirl is A tier 😢
Try Lidls "Raku" sushi it's absolutely delicious!!
Finally woop wooooop.
I bet the cashier hated you, slowed their scan times to a crawl typing in all of the codes.
Edit: just got further in the video sounds like you used a self scan, didn't know Lidl had them.
Im gluten intolerant and I would gluten myself for a good cheese twist, I miss them 😢
Could you do the morrisons bakery please
You're not prejudiced against hazelnut-chocolate; you've tried it, which means your opinion isn't preconceived. And I agree; hazelnut-chocolate always wrong.

Just got whatever was there! Sad I missed a rocky road! :(
i would say the old cinnamon buns were way better than the ones they have now but still f tier is harsh
No Pastel del Nata?
Yes, at 14 mins
Great video
I don’t understand why you didn’t just heat everything up as you went!
3:16 me when i cook chicken
Toffee yum yum is ridiculously good
First stuffed yum yum. Won’t be the last.
Do all of Greggs next?
So funny but you won't find a Belgian bun in Belgium!😂
Maybe you could got someone else to judge the hazelnutty items?
Do Greg's!
Next video: everything from the M&S bakery?
The M&S cookies are good.
I love the milk chocolate ones.
I'm going to agree with the pana choclate - pastry to chocolate always wrong too much pastry too little chocolate
Wad there custard inside the chocolate twist that was a bit dense?
I can never work out what that pastry you put through as a pana chocolate is as well. yes ithas nuts on the top.
I can see from Australia that that cinnamon bun is not good - very dry looking
A Prezel is dense and chewy
Plain croissant A… chocolate filled B….. nope
ZERO COOKIES REMAING
I like a Chelsea bun but I always throw the cherry 🍒 away
If it has a cherry is a Belgian bun. Better than a Chelsea bun.
All bread is not the same. How dare you.
