    I am keeping fresh parsley and cilantro in a vase,like flowers, change the water every day, keep by the window. Lasts for 14 days, nice and fresh.

    FYI , You can save the stems from the parsley
    and make a tea with it , in hot water , honey and lemon .
    It's delicious and ridiculously healthy !

      thyme and rosemary as well. Steep it in hot water and drink it.

    We grow parsley in our country and we use it in cooking.but we don't know this method. Big hug . thanks

    Those ends your cutting off and throwing out keep them and put in your smoothies there is a lot of vitamins in them cheers

    I like your way of doing what i use to do is wrap in psper towel then put it into plastic bag and just put it into the the fridge

    🥗 I wash and chop a large bunch of parsley and freeze them in small portion snack baggies and then place inside pint size freezer bags. But, to save even more time, I will try your method. Thanks 💖for sharing.

    Never use rubber pins to tie them up.Since they cause rotting of stems.

    Dry parsley supposedly has more medicinal properties then fresh that's another one to consider, and keeping the stem yes never throw them away if you do compost them.

    I believe freezing greens causes a loss of folate.

      Very possible Lucy. Other option would be to air dry them. I also have video on how to dry fresh herbs.

    Thank you for the tip with parsley. I was asking my mom the same question. Do you know if you can do the same for cilantro?

      Hi Alyssa, I would think you can do the same thing with cilantro. Key is not to keep it in freezer longer then 2-3 weeks. All the best...:)

    I first chop *then* freeze.
    What did you do with the stems?
    Hope you didnt throw them.
    Thats where the *gold* is!

    Is there any benefit to making parsley tea with dried parsley and not fresh? I bought a McCormick bottle of it, not organic but non-gmo. I can’t wash parsley easily and plus I hate the bugs that are hard to wash away.

      Answer is yes SleeplesinOC....fresh is better but dry parsley tea is also great for you. :)
