Question, with the paper towel method, did you moisten the towel before placing the parsley? Because in the first method, you stressed placing a moisten paper towel around the stems.
I use damp muslin cloth n store ot in refrigerator n do the same foe cilantro,radish,spinach,drumsticks,curry leaves,basil n all other greens. Have kept a seperate section for storing in the refrigerator. MUST RE-DAMP THE MUSLIN CLOTH TWICE A WEEK.
You can put some in glass of water as well and you can freeze the remaining parsley. It will keep for 3 months in freezer (air-tight container or freezer bag).
Word to the wise..with any plant you're washing, always check each one..those caterpillars, etc KNOW how to grab hold and NOT get rinsed off. And some are super small,..and gray,..and nasstayy.., Be aware is all. :)
