Even though I ranked it 5th in my Argos video I still love it. Kind of like Amouage, it's hard to pick a top 5 and it really comes down to personal preference, time of year and the occasion as to which is the best. Baccio is Raspberry and leather heavy with some great Oud and musk notes at the base that go in perfect harmony together. I find Baccio the easiest to wear other than perhaps the pour homme from the house of ARGOS
I have 30 ml of EDP but definitely will finish it by spring debating should I do 100ml of EDP or extrait……… dammitttt man the EDP works great for me I want the extrait hands down but is it worth the extra coin over the EDP
They smell so similar it just depends. The extrait is slightly richer plus it lasts forever and develops amazing on skin. I personally am glad I bought the extrait.
I've only tried the EDP version of Triumph of Bacchus so far, and I don't think I've tried any Extrait version of any fragrance, now that I think about it. I don't dislike any of the scents that I got in the Argos sample pack, but I like Bacio Immortale the best, probably followed by Adonis Awakens, or maybe Thrill of the Chase or Love Triumphs Over War (those are the two samples that I have multiples, since I chose them when I ordered my one full bottle so far) but TOB has this scent that reminds me of sore throat spray. It's certainly not bad, but I'm just not in a big hurry to actually buy a bottle, and I'm definitely not rushing to blind buy the Extrait version
I agree and am very glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. I think you would really find Fall of Phaeton interesting as some of the base notes are somewhat similar to TOB yet the top and middle notes really set it apart and make it fresh and slightly smokey/earthy with the agarwood in it.

Absolutely, you reward creativity, smell better and it is safer to wear on your skin! ARGOS and many other niche brands are natural and don't contain dyes, triclosan, parabens and other synthetics. Plus they are much more collectible and you won't have buyers remorse, it is buy once cry once so to speak.@@junboo8730

You said you didn’t get a lot of tobacco until three of four hours into the fragrance? That a little disappointing considering people call it a tobacco fragrance.
Not really IMO, tobacco is a base note for a reason. It certainly shows the depth and composure of the fragrance since the saffron, green apple, white peach and rum notes are so strong at the top notes. Even Amouage Royal Tobacco and Boadicea Tobacco Sapphire it takes a few hours for the note to really come through all the way.
Just a sneak peek, I love it! I'm glad you commented otherwise I would not have seen it. RUclips is annoying sometimes as ARGOS has tagged me in a few things as well and I don't get notified. Took me week to realize they shared two of videos after randomly looking at their RUclips page.
@@MrBarrow100 If you notice most of my videos are 4k and just trimmed. I don’t do much editing either, I go off the rip and start over if I need to. It makes it difficult but I do not know any other fragrance reviewer that does things that way so I feel it makes me and the channel unique. I say it all the time that we are all on borrowed time; I hate wasting peoples time with fancy editing and long intros. Over the course of all the videos it will save me and others hours our life 😅😂
