I feel for him. No parent should outlive their children. I can't think of anything worse than to watch your child die.
Children are your greatest strength in life and your greatest weakness.
Their happiness becomes your own and get you through the worst of times because no matter what happens to you it doesn't really matter as you know they're safe and happy.
But their pain and sorrow also becomes yours. It's like you gave part of yourself to them and if they die, so does that part inside you.
A wound that can never heal.

Yes. I also think Mr. Bigelow is a nice man. And a gentleman. For someone of his stature he seems open minded and respectful of others. I can see why he is a successful business man having that humble quality which is rare these days. Thank you, George Knapp and Mr. Bigelow. Very good podcast. 👍🤔

In regard to the afterlife - Here was my experience...
I had heart surgery and was dead for nearly 3 minutes. (Then my blood circulation and breathing was done by a machine while my heart was stopped for the 4 plus hour surgery.)
I recall a silence so great it was almost painful. I tried to yell but could not even hear my own voice. This only lasted for what seemed like a half minute. I was in total darkness and was scared. - Then I was lifting up from my body, and could see again. I slowly drifted back down to the side, and I could hear again, and I could see all the people working on me. I then saw my father and maternal grandfather down a long corridor, (both already passed away years ago) and I was very happy to see them, and I started hollering and waving to them. I no longer had any fear at all. I had a sense of joy and excitement. (I did not have any thoughts of my loved ones that were alive in my life. It was almost as if they did not exist, so I could not miss them) - They would look in my direction but would not acknowledge me at all. I remember becoming sad, and thinking I must had done something to make them angry at me.
They appeared to be talking, and I recall the feeling that they had not seen each other for a while. They both looked the way I remembered them, before they had become sick with cancer. At this point a fellow came up to me, and he had a broken leg. He asked me how I was doing, and I pointed to the operating table, and told him I did not think I was doing too well. He smiled, and said not to worry, everything would be okay. I asked him who he was, and he said he was my brother. I asked what happened to his leg, and he said where he is at, he gets to experience a type of life, that had pleasure and pain, joy and sadness. He said it was a place for people to gain experience and try things out, that did not get a chance at life, and also that they could move on when they felt ready.
I told him I did not have a brother, but I felt what he said was genuine. I told him my father and grandfather must be mad at me, because they were not talking to me, and would not do anything more than give me the occasional look, while they were chatting. The fellow said they were not mad, and that they could not talk to me because it was not my time to see them.
The next thing I recall, was waking up in the hospital room 2 days after the surgery. After the breathing tube was out of my mouth, and I was fully cognizant and could talk, I had full recollection of what I experienced. I told my wife, sister and mother that I had such a weird experience, but that it seemed so real. However, due to the fellow saying he was my brother, it must have been a crazy dream. My mother then said that I actually did have a brother that had died during his birth, which I never knew of. At this point, I knew in my freshly repaired heart, that what I had experienced was real for me.
After dwelling on it for endless hours each day while recovering in the hospital for over a week, here is my interpretation of it:
When we pass from this life, it must be like being born, (passing from one state to another just like in birth) which would explain why there was such a horrible silence when passing from my body. It is as if there is a vacuum wall separating the paths, to keep them apart.
I felt there is the here and now, (the life we all know) and then there is the afterlife, where you go when you have lived and died, and you are with the people you love, and you appear to everyone in the form they remember you best as. So for example, my dad and my grandfather (his father in-law) got along okay, but they were not great friends or real family beyond the marriage connection, which would explain why it appeared they had not seen each other for a while and appeared to be chatting as if they had not been together before this. I felt they both were there because I loved them both, and they were there and showed themselves, perhaps to ease my fear of the unknown?
Then, I think there is a middle-point, a purgatory type of place, where people that did not get to experience life in this world, get to go to and have a chance to experience it. (Those that died young, or that was born with a physical or mental deficiency that prevented them from living a "normal" life.
I did not see Heaven, nor did I see the Lord or any Angels (although I am a believer and a born-again Christian). I did not receive any messages about living better, or doing more good in the world, or anything that would encourage me to change the path I was on in my life.
For me, this was very real, and I think of it often.
I would be interested in hearing from anyone that has had a similar experience.
    Best to all

YOU DA MAN GEORGE!!!!!! I have been seriously worried that as time continued to roll by, we were never going to hear what Bigelow actually had to say and at some point down the road he would pass away and the opportunity would be gone. Sure there have been other interviews in the past but most were short and didn't dive as deeply into the mind of Bigelow as this one did. George I would wager that you will go down in history as one of the main players that facilitated the disclosure movement due to your never ending pounding of the pavement to get to the truth. I am sure when I say this I speak for many, we truly appreciate all you have done for us. It's been one helluva ride and surely is far from being over. Thank you for your services.

The night following his death my wife and I were in bed and at about 2 a.m. a book of his began playing music. It was a story book that would play music when open. We both got up… the book was atop a cabinet … closed.
We knew it was him dropping in to let us know he was ok. We took that book and placed it inside his coffin, along with our family photo.

Me too, I'd always written it off as a bunch of myths but didn't know he was personally involved and experienced things, now it makes me think there is more to it than just stories.
EDIT: Looked into it some more. Turns out Bigelow never saw any of it himself, it was the people he paid to live on the ranch who reported them. They have admitted that the boss was unhappy when they came up empty handed, so they started making up stories to keep him happy. That, combined with no evidence in the form of photos, reveals that the whole thing is pretty much made up.

I understand the frustration experienced by Robert Bigelow firsthand with what he and his scientists experienced at the Ranch. The inconsistency when investigating, what is the purpose of the encounters, wanting more detailed communication, resulting in impatience and more frustration. I myself have encountered and recorded very strange phenomena since 2012 and for some reason on a cyclic two-yearly basis. Then 2 years of absolutely nothing. This last cycle of nothing just concluded its third year, so for some reason extended by one year, so am expecting and certainly hoping that they continue soon.

That's wonderful. These things are real and you know it happened and it was done to let you know that he's still here. I had a shared experience with my ex wife after my dog passed. It was so overwhelmingly positive and reassuring. I was inconsolable until it happened and while I miss her, i didn't feel guilty and was able to process future loss much better. You don't need anybody else to validate that experience bc you know it happened, so don't let other people take that away from you.

The more I hear him talk about it the more I think "demonic" "tricksters" dimensional vs ET or galatic neighbors. It very well could be all in one. I just hope If were not alone and it's more than we can be that theres something that like us more; thats stronger lol. The force of darkness and light whether its star wars or the stories from religion the bible Torah any and maybe all have some grain of truth to em. It might not be that they are appearing more but that our minds are open more to what we cant explain. To be the person privileged to see all the governments files open on this could be a complete burden and like he said. Bad stuff would follow those home that studies or was close to this. Like playing with a ouija board. That luis elizondo stated that many top brass pushed this aside and said dont pursue it cause its demonic leads me to believe the high brass have been briefed much more in detail than we understand.

My 97 year old mother told me something so similar it's creepy.
My father and mother were driving East on Scoolcraft Rd before the l-96 expressway was built.
She described a huge plane that came toward them and filled the entire windshield.
She turned to my father in fear and said his expression was completely blank.
She screamed his name and then, the plane was gone and they were still driving in the car.
She said my father never mentioned it and they never spoke of it.
These memories just came back to her a few years ago. She was pregnant with my older sister and wondered if that was the reason this happened.
I remember 3 friends who would visit (appear) and always brought the coolest toys that we played with sitting in a circle in my bedroom.
They never spoke and the toys floated in the air. That was the game. To make them float and move without touching them.
We never left my bedroom but the walls disappeared into a blur with only the area we were sitting on the floor looking the same.
I can only remember one of their faces. I'm not sure if the other 2 had faces, or they were blurred.
The one who always stared at me close up "my friend" had the face I remembered.
I was in a pre-kindergarten school age and they were all just a little shorter than I was, but I knew they were older.
They had very short Roman style hair growing forward. Olive colored skin.
Small but proportional heads and bodies.
They looked like little humans. Not weirdly shaped just small.
Except for the other 2 "kids" whos faces always blurred when i tried to look at them, but playing the game was always super important. It was the only thing that mattered to them.
We'd play for hours and were never disturbed. My mom always seemed to be in the other rooms but I never hears her while they were over.
I'm not even sure they was any sound to be heard. Nothing. No cars driving by noise. No birds or dogs barking. Nothing.
My "best friend" said goodbye one day. That they were leaving. Going far away, but not in words. I just "knew".
I was just a little kid and my sadness wasn't over anything deep and meaningful.
I knew it meant they'd take their cool "toys" away and I'd never get to play with them again.
The last of the "nice" ones.
Every other time it was like something out of a horror show complete with terror and pain.
Hope I never see another one and I pray my children never have encounters.
The "nice" ones seem to have left long ago. Now we're just left with crap.
