Years ago, when I worked as an over-the-road truck driver, I picked up a load of paper rolls in a small town in Oklahoma. After picking up the load, I drove until I was tired and pulled over to sleep in a very rural area. I woke up in the middle of the night and went outside to use the bathroom. While I was standing beside the truck, I had a very shocking and detailed memory of a small, gray creature with big eyes looking at me as I woke up. I remember seeing it move, as if it had just left the sleeper where I was. Our eyes met as it moved out of the truck and looked back at me. The memory freaked me out, and I immediately started the truck and drove until I reached a town, still in shock.

@@stevebrown5427 When we wake up or just before we fall asleep, our minds can play tricks on us, sometimes with very vivid and very real looking hallucinations. This actually isn't all that rare apparently but can be extreme for some people. Others actually have a condition that gives them very realistic hallucinations regularly which must be horrible and debilitating.
The only ever experience I had was waking up after a bad sleep to see a grey deomonic looking person kneeling beside my bed looking at something on my bedside locker. I got a big fright obviously and my knee-jerk reaction was to go on the attack(I'm not brave and this was just an automatic "just woke up" immediate response without thinking). As I scrambled across the bed with my fist drawn back this demonic creature very casually turned his head and stared into my eyes with dead, black eyes with a slight yellowish tint and a stern facial expression that didn't change. No words were spoken, no sounds were made and there was no change in this "persons" demeanor as I closed in, and it lingered for longer than a hallucination seemed like it should(not that I'd know)) with a disturbing dismissal of my awareness of him and my advancing threat, like it felt in complete control and that I was nothing but an annoying disturbance to whatever he was studying before I woke. Then he finally disappeared like some sort of quick mist, all without changing his kneeling position or unbroken stare at me. The only motion from him, was when he turned his head and stared at me with those freaky black deomonic "eyes". I must watch too many movies honestly.
Now here's the question. Was this classic Roman statue curly haired grey devil with the frightening black yellowish eyes actually there? No, of course not. I know some people believe in lurkers and interdimensional beings etc, but as much as a personal can believe they really had an encounter with some supernatural being, I'm not buying it even with my own single experience.
Why don't I believe it? Because it's perfectly natural and scientifically explained why we can sometimes hallucinate and see things that actually aren't there, especially when we're waking up and more so if we're extremely tired or stressed or bothered about something or even depending on what we ate that day, and most likely had some sort of similar dream just prior to waking only we'll often not remember that similar dream or both get convoluted in that half awake, half asleep, half dreaming, car passing, door banging or noise outside etc.
As for me, I got up and walked around to properly wake up, took a look at the bedside locker out of interest which only had an alarm clock and absolutely nothing even remotely interesting to warrant the manifestation of some supernatural or interdimensional being to kneel next to my bed, completely ignore me and spend time transfixed studying this area lol. I glanced at the news on my phone to change my mindset to a new topic, then went back to sleep peacefully, never to be "revisited" again. But since I had already concluded it was just a one-off hallucination with a number of factors giving rise to it(I don't drink or drugs btw!)), and read up on the medical science behind hallucinations, my mind was quickly put at peace and so it's not surprising imho that it was a one-off, because I simply didn't care about it anymore and rather quickly.

A couple of years ago my son and his family were having breakfast at a local coffeehouse in Mpumalanga South Africa. Hi daughter 8 and son 10 were sitting facing the parking lot outside, they asked their dad what was that vehicle floating in the sky, my son turned around but saw nothing. Later he told me about it, so I asked him to give them pencil and paper and they must both go to different rooms and draw what they saw.
My son then sent me the drawings on messenger. I in return sent to him the drawing of some of the children in the Zimbabwe incident, which I got from the James Fox documentary.
    They were eerily similar.
Whatever was there, disappeared in a flash once my son turned around.
The reason my son mentioned it to me at all, was because I had a similar experience when I was eleven years old, which I had told him and his brother a number of times.

Humans may not understand what is happening to them, so they react in fear, but they're just upgrading human DNA and helping humanity to evolve.

He's not falling apart, he just doesn't know how to answer some of these questions without going faaar back to where it all started.
I agree that Jaques seems to struggle with direct questions/answers, but keep in mind that whatever he says has to fit the audience. Vallée comes from a point of decades and decades of research and interviews with direct witnesses as well as trying to connect historical events to more recent ones (100-50 years ago).
So how on earth is he supposed to give a "in 10 seconds or less" gen z answer? This phenomenon has been happening for millenia.
Some answers they might be guarded about because they don't know how much they are allowed to say. Like about the material and where it is supposed to be. Could very well be they don't know, like with the Roswell stuff, but the Coronado incident material is with Nolan, that they did (after some hesitation).

Look up Vallée's credentials and work history: this man is a genius and really not a ordinary person. He's of the quiet and tirelessly working type that is never in the spotlights, yet he has been in the UFO community spotlights for decades, he's even portrayed in the Spielberg movie Encounters of the Third Kind (1977). There's something really uncanny about him and his public presence. Maybe his hypothesis are really the closest to the truth and that they have to be hidden in plain sight? There's secret miltech ofc but most of the UFO phenomenon could really be psychic in nature and/or coming from other dimensions.

He isn’t military, he isn’t employed by a govt agency as far as I am aware, so why is he withholding information that is relevant to disclosure if he is supposed to be a important figure in the push for disclosure? It was one human looking being that took Travis by the arm and walked him out, with a glass bowl over his head, not two people... when he was walked to a small room there were two more beings, one woman and one other man, those two beings did not wear a bowl over their heads.. only the man from the ship did. He was forced onto a table, and the woman put a mask over his face and he lost consciousness.

The arguments about the existence of a "phenomenon," be it land, sea, air, or space, isn't the "thing" that is being kept secret from the general population. If you choose to be ignorant, that is your choice. The meaningful questions of who what and why are the keys to maintaining the control of long-term expectations for life, liberty, and every individuals perspective of happiness. Ultimately, everything is part of an organically derived growth process, the interconnectedness that is inherently felt by all but understood by only the few. The hand that cracks the whip is only concerned about the sound it makes and the effect on said hands target.
Organics require the use of directed energies for natural growth and development within the theoretical closed system of the universe. It's like, when a senior officer screams at his young inquisitor, "You can't handle the truth!", but that's not true either. Given the resources, the seed, nut, twig, branch, trunk, and roots system can be reversed. The tree of life can grow in many directions and bears a great variety of fruits and woods.
Perhaps we are the fruits of the tree called Earth, overgrown within the greenhouse of our solar system. The unknown hands of the gardener are flying around in UAP's.
Be kind and do good work.
