We can't really say the name was stolen. During the Cuban revolution in the 50's, most cigar makers flew Cuba to Dominican Republic, Honduras, The Canaries and other countries able to grow premium cigar tobaccos and re-establish their brands with other tobaccos while in Cuba, the government took ownership of all properties under the communism regime. There have been many legal challenges in many countries regarding those brands conflicts.
