@@fletarious its fine for a turn based RPG. Its not a fighting game so having more effects to make things look more interesting is a good thing to do.
@@guardiansoulblade2673 for sure. But generally speaking, new characters in fate go haave really great animations. She has some extra cool stuff though haha
@@putsagatinmeltyblood7679 nah it does make sense tho fgo is aoko using blue magic to use her future body while melty aoko is the future aoko hence the easygoing nature
@@putsagatinmeltyblood7679 what? What i meant by saying that fgo's aoko is probably inexperienced so she uses way more power than needed while melty she is straight just playing making the magic blue lower output making it less noticable. It could also be the case of different Enemies needing different output
0:06 It seems the Japanese community has settled on プレーン層 (the Japanese source I found translates this as simply "Plane"). It appears to be a component of circuit boards, but in the Nasuverse context it might be related to dimensions and textures? I have no idea.
FGO: Better Effects
Melty Blood: Better Keyframes, poses and visual clarity
makes sense, since both of these are important in fighting games
@t_raywen8750 effects from fgo would make it harder for ppl to keep track of Aoko's hit boxes😭
fgo too much effects

@@MokonaModokiES theres many ways make animation on 2d turn base rpg that less flashy effect but still great.
they did a pretty good job in fate go
Yep, they went all out because she's a Type-Moon heroine.

It also kinda make sense in story since melty's is usually going easy but on fgo she is using more power hence the outfit
Nah, it is certainly down to design choice(Visual Clarity).
I find this funny because she still ended up being top tier in melty blood despite taking it easy 😭

@@fashilram7313 Blue is incomplete in her FGO appearance. I dunno why you're trying to say lack of/different effects indicates anything.

Thanks! I'll go change that and do some research myself
