      did he just mansplain and minimise and dismiss the lived reality and genuine legitimate concerns of a "woman" about the problems women face every day from birth to death? Did he just reduce the solution to a list of 5 "famous" indian women"? .... WOW.... can't even make a decent film for women's day!

    My baby girl is of 10 months now. I had faced almost the same situation when she was born. But I can’t express my happiness in words having her. I am truly blessed to have a healthy baby and “gender “ is a missing word in a mother’s dictionary.

Everyone was speaking about beta thode hua and their pale faces..It all hurted only me but not my husband he didn't try once to convince them ki yeh uski life ka bhi bda moment h... Now she is of one month and so called family never shower love on her... Kuch ghr sirf ek bchhe k liye taras jate aur yha logo ka muh utr jata ldki dekh k..... Kash Vivek jaisa himmat sbh ldko m ho joh galat ko galat bol ske...

    I'm a 90s kid, working professional now. Only child to my parents. Whenever my parents used to introduce me, people used to ask "only daughter? No son?" Then my parents used to say proudly "she is both our son and daughter". Even today that mentality is still there in our society. Even for arranged marriage alliances I am seeing nowadays they're worried that I am only daughter and i will have to look after my parents in the old age. Society needs to change according to time. All I am asking is equality irrespective of gender. No special treatment whatsoever. Very beautifully conveyed the message. Thank you for the video 💜

      yes...it is just the brainwash of the whole society about women being a weak gender, in fact women are 10000 times stronger! Their inborn multitasking capability, handling any adverse situation in life and above all caring for loved ones. Look at the mentality of the family where the girl is treated with a mindset that she is anyway going to the other family, why to pamper her? and is not given equal opportunities like boys in the family! I miss my father who was so much supportive to girls in the family. My aunty could pursue her M. A. degree, L.L.B digree just because my father pressurised my grandpa to allow her further education. My grand pa's argument was how a suitable match would be found if she is so much educated? I lost my father when I was in 10th standard only. Now in my family I have 2 sons and both of them of 2-2 girls. My brother has one girl, my other sister has 2 daughters...My father would have felt so proud that I became a computer technician, other sister just retired for the highest post in the Stock market firm, the other sister also retired from her liaison officer post from the Real Estate firm, my DIL is a practicing NP, other DIL is running her own music academy, one of my nieces is opthelmologist, her sister is a member of the bar association, the other niece is a dentist and running Yoga-meditation group...and these are just my father's family female members who thrived in various fields! How proud and happy he would have felt? I am lucky to be his daughter. And wo wo I forgot to mention all of my 4 granddaughters the eldest one is just recently reached upto the semifinalist group for German language competition in her school, she is going to appear in the board exam in iceskating(learning ice skating since she was 3-4 years old) she and her sister are seriously learning Bharat Natyam, all 4s always remained on the President's honour list, the youngest is showing great talent of drawing portraits like her GrandMa (I am a self taught portrait artist, my work can be seen at www.soundofindia.com/meera). Well, in order to how my father was supportive of female gender 60-70 years ago and I got dragged narrating how female members in my father's own family tree has thrived, sorry for the lenghty post. WE CAN DO!

    In this video, atleast the husband is understanding and supportive which is a great thing for the wife and child. But in many families, the husband is like his mother or heeds to his mother.
    Only a wife who is also a mom can understand what it means to have such a loving and supportive husband, specially post delivery.

    A son takes the family's name further BUT a daughter does double the job because she is the dignity of her parents' family and pride of her in laws family. Inspiring story. A baby girl is indeed a boon of happiness for the family, bringing luck and cheers. A baby boy only takes the family's name forward. Only a healthy baby irrespective of gender is important now.

      every child is the dignity of family. every child irrespective of gender can be a lucky charm. the point is you treat everyone equally and give good teachings to your child. even girls can be bad, abusive, evil and house breakers which is so common these days. pseudo feminism is on rise. so its important that girls are not given special treatment and just treated equally.

    • @nishawadekar4934
      @nishawadekar4934 2 года назад +18

      @@learnspokenenglishwithfun8094 this is very true. this is due to lack of good lessons from family. these kind of old people shown in the video teach their daughters to make their husband a puppet. on the other hand they expect their son to treat his wife like trash.

    • @happygirl8189
      @happygirl8189 2 года назад +4

      @@learnspokenenglishwithfun8094 when a baby girl is born its the parents who teach the baby everything as her mind is like an empty slate. So when she is growing and develops her personality it doesn't mean she is being domineering and causing havoc since childhood. If parents give too much importance to their daughter in law n son but expect lots more from the daughter then she should fight for her right. When a girl gets married her parents' family remain lifelong she is not cut off nor is she a stranger after marriage. This is not the case in Mauritius. I dnt know about India, maybe Yr values and Yr upbringing is different. Baby boy anyway takes the family name forward. That's all. He will bring a wife who snatches everything when he grows up n shows everybody how much they should regret accepting her as a daughter in law. Parents show off their baby boys because of the money parents will get after marriage of their son. What pride do baby boys bring? Right from pregnancy parents put the mother of a baby boy on a high level though they cannot know the destinies of such boys.

    My mother expired in 2003, we are 3 girls siblings, my father has built us so strong and independent. Yes we did face few public harassment here and there and also on social platforms like Facebook, insta (in personal dms Or on comments) like any other girl in public place. But we did not stop ourselves, we knew it if you will harm me, I will harm you double. But yes thanks to the destiny that we have never faced such worst instances. I request everyone to build your girls free and strong. Talk to them every evening, understand their choices and be polite with them, don't get harsh on them with society rules and regulations. They are born to change something.💗

    I am father of boy and girl and love both equally however I strongly feel my life would be incomplete without her. Feel sad for thousands of dads who don't recognize this precious gift from God. You'll only feel it once you have a daughter so cannot explain in words.

    Loved the thought of the mother that she is neither worried about messages nor her mother in law but the concern that she has for her new born baby girl which is absolutely correct
    Being a woman and on behalf of all the woman she said right words that almost everyone makes a woman feel uncomfortable at least once in the lifetime....kudos to the team behind this thought and the resolution to the problem given by his husband

The main problem is that the Female communty is the victim of their own community. U can see the differences are between सास बहु, ननद भाबी.Am happy that people are changing their views regarding daughters. They are a blessing. They are doing eqallant to males, I may say much more.

      Well! If they are educated, they should know better than most of us that the person who gives birth to the boy is ALSO a woman, before she is a mother.
      A few years ago, a lawyer had been asked to present her views to the media about the increasing incidents of rape cases against women, to which she made an argument that convinced me.
      She (a female lawyer) said one of the reasons this happens is because everyone wants to have a boy in the family, creating an imbalance in the Gender Equality Ratio. She even went on to mention that one particular state in India, had 1 girl for every 13 boys, and because those odds make it difficult for women to travel in groups with other women, it results in them being caught alone by these perpetrators.
