    I am a medical student in Jamaica.I enjoy listening to your teaching rounds sir.Thank you for your teaching and kindness. I always believe that a person with alot of knowledge that doesnt teach others during his life ,is like a rich man that dies without children to inherit his wealth.Children is considered a persons legacy, the legacy(offsprings) of a person with alot of knowledge is his students. After all it is known that a mans wealth is his children, and a teacher's wealth is his students. Having many students is like having many children, these students becomes a teachers intellectual offsprings.

    This was an amazing experience, I was literally nodding along to all your words and answering questions that you asked. Im a 3rd year MBBS student and I loved how you asked atypical questions from outside medicine, like “what is coprophagia?” And the significance of evolutionary shortening of Appendix. I wish they taught like this at our postings but they just don’t care about teaching us. Thank you for posting this video Sir.

  • @irfanarahan
    @irfanarahan Год назад +5

    Bedside teaching has gone so poor nowadays (esp post Covid), most rounds are a checklist for ward works even by senior consultants. Pleading to get CT/MRI scans and references are the main work these days in Govt institutes.
    Good to see this for a change.

    In first part I got a impression that although this Professor is wise, intelligent, having great knowledge but also is short tempered, angry, than I tell myself wisdom comes with arrogance.
    But in in this 2nd part, what I previously thought about him, is proven completely wrong, It was my mistake in passing a judgement on someone just by viewing a single Short video,
    I have no doubt that he is very very good teacher, very wise, intelligent, interactive one, those students who are getting lesson, learning under him are really fortunate.
