  • @MUSTAFK
    @MUSTAFK Год назад +1

    Yeah i bought this case as a budget option years ago and upgraded mty hardware, and looking at the case, i think i need a new case. The airflow is terrible, i did some testing and with the side panel off i get 10-12 degrees celcius cooler performance which means this case with the panel on is just choking itself. Some front case fans should perhaps work, but 1 there is little to no room and 2 i really wonder where they are going to take their air from. Maybe remove the front LED panel, buy a mesh and call it a day, but idk.

    are SP Fans better for the vents on the top of the PSU and HDD shroud? I'm quiet new to pc building and this is my current case.
    I plan to buy an 240 AiO to be installed on the front.
    And the vent on the top of the case is quiet tight. The 120mm fans could not fit well because of the CPU cable connected at the top part. My Motherboard is MSI B450M Mortar Titanium.

    • @JezyYT
      @JezyYT  4 года назад

      Great question! I would personally use SP fans entirely on this case. Anything over 50 cfm would be ideal especially using a AIO. ID-Cooling to some great cheap SP fans XF-12025’s also I did struggle with some fans at the top and rear mounts as some are thicker than others. Also the same said fans are on the ID-Cooling ZoomflowX AIO cooler, so you could bye that and a pack of 3 fans and your sorted! However there is a very good airflow case for under £35 if your in the UK from Kazza on amazon. Please let me know if this works.

    • @JezyYT
      @JezyYT  4 года назад +1

      You can maybe go as high as a RTX 2070! But may I suggest you buy a High Static Fan like a Noctua D12 for the front bottom to really such in as much air as possible? Maybe if you can afford it? One for the back too? They are whisper quiet but move so much air the system will stay really nice and cool but look great! If you want RGB on the rear fan you can opt for a Halo Fan cover to give it bling! There are other cheaper alternatives if you would like me to compile a list of good airflow fans for you

I am not a big fan of it as all of the RGB in my case is connected and can be sunk minus the front panel. i also saw people not being able to turn off their front RBG but if you just hold down the LED button on the front of a couple seconds it will turn off.

      Safistic yes, look at the front of the case, at the bottom where you see the vents, put your hand under the front of the case and you will feel a large cutout about the size of your hand? Grab the case here and maybe rest some body weight on the rest of the case and pull! Not violently!!!! As you will break the friction fittings. Give it a pull and upwards, if it doesn’t come off do it harder until it does! Then to put it back on! Just put into place and use your palm and with reasonable force (about the same force you use knocking a door) whack in the fitting locations for it to clip back in place. If you put a SP fan at the bottom of the front mounting area you can pull in some average air! But keep an eye out for my review on the upcoming Pro version

    I'm housing a 7700k with radeon 7. This thing, once built looks very nice. Feels more expensive paired with some RGB fans. The SD reader is a nice touch for a cheap purchase. Air flow is pretty good too.

    2023 REVIEW:
    Anyone coming to this comment section in 2023 be forewarned that this case as pretty subpar airflow. I am running a liquid cooled ryzen 7 5700x (with a 240mm radiator mounted behind the front panel) and a 3060ti. This thing got HOT when I first built it (60C idle, 88 under 100% load) because the hot air was just hitting the front panel like a walland getting trapped in the case. The only **affordable** solution I could think of for this was to cut some holes in the front to let the air passing through radiator and expel somehow. Came out pretty good and temps are reading more normal (45C idle, 65 under 100% load.) If you’re trying to budget and don’t want to dump money on a GPU cooler as well, this method of customization makes this case pretty viable all around, or if you don’t care about aesthetics you can just remove the front panel all together to let the air escape. 7 out of 10.

      thanks mate, appreciate it. I have this case for about 4 years now and looking to see whether i can upgrade hardware in this thing. Can you install 2/3 front fans and remove the front panel and put a magnetic mesh filter on it, would that work?
