These new builds must be pretty thermally efficient. AAC block on the inside and fiberglass bats in the cavity. My central London flat just has a two course brick, no cavity. Gets pretty cold, I'm thinking of adding insulated plasterboard.

I never use shovels to to my mixes I use buckets as 5-1 my shovel could be a different size to some one else and colour would change nice extension though mate
Just been looking actually. I have a quick question .. Should each brick be levelled width ways as well as lenght when layed or do you ensure that the brick face just looks flat against the rest and is right by eye ..

doyou need to cut a cavity or put a bit of dpc up the wall between the wall starters,,cheers

@@odbguy5886 as long as your laying to the line, you can usually check the width level when checking the face is plumb 👍
