Abalone Hunt Day 2 - Should be Called Ab-crowded Not Ab-alone!!

Perth Fishing - Another day, another Abalone! This was the first Abalone mission for 2025, it was a little rougher than anticipated and from all reports after the event, it was quite a busy day for the volunteer rescue teams.
Guys, if you aren't confident/competent in the water, please don't risk your life and the lives of others by getting caught out in rough conditions.

Hi Julie, l like them, but they aren't everyone's cup of tea I guess...
They are very rubbery so they need to be tenderised before cooking. They don't need to be cooked long (like scallops or squid) and they have a mild scallop/squid/unique taste - hard to explain really!
