I got mine in Dec. 2022. The one thing I wish I could change is the bedroom hight. I'm 5'10" and have to hunch over when standing. It's designed to fit into a regular garage. Otherwise it's a decent little trailer. The heater and AC work well enough.
Your wish defeats the whole idea of this trailer. Of course everyone wants to stand up in a travel trailer, but this one is designed to be a lot smaller, including the height which means you cannot stand up in it. You have to buy bigger to get your wish, and then there are a whole host of cons with the bigger one, including it won't fit in your garage, you may need a larger tow vehicle, etc
We bought one and will be taking our first trip soon. If a pot is placed on the griddle, will it boil water or should I buy something else to boil water? Also any organizing tips, we plan to take a couple week or longer trips this year?
I imagine it might boil water, but we've got a small induction burner that we plug in in the kitchen. We're going camping in a couple of weeks, so I'll try it and let you know if it works.
For organization, we added some shelves just inside the door and a magnetic knife holder to the left of the sink. We also got some screw in cup hooks with little clips on them for hanging utensils and coffee cups. The clips keep thing from bouncing off of the hooks.
@@yurydolinsky LOL. That is a completely different type of travel trailer. These are tiny tear drop style trailers that you cannot even stand up in, with no bathrooms, etc. You bought a full size travel trailer. Apples and oranges.
@@averageguysurvival2046 Yes, those foam cushions look very lightweight and cheap. I saw a review and when the guy sat down both sides sprung up from his weight like sitting on a pool float.
You are going to need a big inverter an battery bank to run A/C and electric space heater. I really live this model, but the lack of gas heat is a no-go for me.
Most of my camping these days happens in campgrounds with electrical hookups, so it's not a big issue for me. When I get the urge to rough it, I've got a hammock tent that fits in my backpack.
The inverter is built in, and 2 deep cycles would be enough for days unless you're in extreme weather. Its a tiny space so running the heat for hours at a time probably isn't necessary. Also, you wouldn't want propane in such a tiny space.
@pauld.b7129 We didn't get ours with the inverter. It was an optional add-on. The inverter can be added, but we mostly use campsites with plug-ins because we're getting old.
So far, it seems pretty good. On last outing, we towed it 1,800 miles round trip and slept in it for 6 nights. We've only had it for a few months now, but have had no issues at all.
@@jimihendrix8535 we towed it with a Jeep Wrangler, so the mileage wasn't great to begin with, but we only dropped down by a couple of miles per gallon.
if they made 1 a bit taller and longer, at least 6 foot inside height and a few feet longer to have a porta potty inside, then it would be almost perfect
Thanks for the great review best one I’ve found so far definitely interested in this camper!
We love it. We're doing a week in Kentucky in just a few days.
That’s where I’m from! I live in Oklahoma now though

Does it have trailer brakes? Does it need them? And what about a weight distribution hitch? Does it need one?
@RobBratton-w4g it does have brakes, but I've never installed a brake controller. It's pretty lightweight, so I've never felt like it needed one.
@@averageguysurvival2046 is the plug on it a 6 way or 7 way trailer plug
@RobBratton-w4g if I remember correctly, it's a 5, but I got an adapter, so it works with the flat four prong on the jeep.

Did your jeep tow it pretty good
It does a good job. The trailer weighs around 1600 lbs. So it's within the jeeps towing capacity.
Happy trails. I’m still in the research phase.
There's a lot of good options out there. This one works really well for us.
Good luck. Took me 2 years before I made up my mind. I ended up with Forest River Surveyor legend. 19 foot. 15-year roof warranty is what got me sold.

Mine did not come with a SPARE tire.
They have a tire hanger underneath.
ASK before you buy.
Hi, Nice setup. Did the bed come with the Coleman? If not whrer did you get it?
The bed starts out as a couch and pulls out to the bed. We did add a feather topper to make it more comfortable.
How is the overall build quality? I know it’s not a $20,000 trailer so I don’t expect that… but is it worth the money you paid?
Absolutely. I have no complaints. We did get a memory foam mattress pad because the original was a little uncomfortable.

Hi there. Thanks for the review. Thinking about picking one of these up. How is the AC working out? Is it super noisy?
It's really not bad, but I like a little white noise when I sleep.

Thanks for the reply! That’s what I like to hear. Wife and I think this would be perfect for our Jeep.
