Pop’s had a red B model 10 wheeler and his brother an RB . This was out on Long Island, learned a lot from them two. RIP lads .

We have 120 thousand pounds on it and it pulls it better that any other rig we own
I'm from Scotland so all our trucks are what you guys call cab overs. We get the odd conventional scania what gets called a (T cab ) a few companies around Glasgow have some. A love how we all have the same things with the slight differences however its the rules and regulations that dictate the overall outcome. Weights, height, trailer length, axle loadings and you know the rest. I admire the USA trucks for their driver comfort, the room you guys have is frightening. And you have the massive roads to run them. That being said the European trucks are tiny in comparison however what they can cram in them has to be applauded also. Scania and volvo both at the front and both making trucks that have 750hp+ from factory. Be a race to get 1000hp. Anyways the mack is a great working truck. No frills, no fancy stuff. Just does what it's told
@TheBostonTrucker I was in Boston back in September. Actually been to Texas and NYC a few times so I've been able to get a good look and listen to the American rigs 👌. Can't take my eye's off them 😀

IF U DON'T LIKE MACKS , U DON'T LIKE TRUCKS Don't get me wrong Mike KW makes a good truck but they can't hold a candle to that RW when in comes to Swagger. Those oversize Radiators and the Vertical Wrap around windshield with the Lund visors. Even the back of those R series cabs were pretty, the way they were stamped and had all the corners tucked in , no sharp edges. HARD TO BEAT. Thanks for posting

Started with a loadstar 1700 that is still running daily, I miss the r600 twin stick, and put many of miles on a miserable T800 with the m11 and no Jake or jam. Uncle had a super liner with a v8 Mack. Wish I could have bought it and put a straight 6 in.
When you get back to the shop tell them to hook the Jake brake switches up to throttle and clutch pedal so you do not have to turn the dash switch on and off all the time

CAT 3408 would win because of its power and it last longer … no offense on mack’s big V-8
the 3408 didn’t have as much torque as the E9 500 which was 1650 which now days is very common
