It's a pretty good cleaner overall, but there are some pretty silly software bugs and inadequacies.
For example my VR10M703 figured it's roller was jammed or something and stopped vacuuming. Did it stop and give an error code, tell what was wrong with it? No, it just continued the rest of it's routine without the vacuum turned on, day after day, I only realized the problem as dust started piling up, the bot was simply dragging it around the floor ever day while I wasn't home. Turning the power switch off and on again cleared it up and it started working normally again.
For a silly inadequacy - you can schedule a daily cleaning, but you can't schedule by weekdays. As in clean Monday to Friday but let me sleep on weekends. It's just a silly thing to omit.
My recommendation, just give the people working on the engineering and programming of these things product samples to use at home. That way you can have your people do unpaid product testing 24/7 and you can have them really see what needs fixing and improvement.

The "conventional" vaccum is the navibot with pop out corners, so they must have used a remote to not allow the vaccum to do that

Close, but no cigar. The vacuum used is a Navibot S, not a Navibot CornerClean, as seen in Test 3. (Technically, it would be a Smart Tango, but that's just the Korean name for the Navibot S line-up.)

Interesting that you didn't test something that every household has... Under kick boards. My guess is this unit doesn't do so well as it is too tall to fit under most kick boards. Ordinary kickboard height of about 4 inches in this unit is 5 inches.
